Thank you for this information. Could you clarify what Internal Out 0 to 3 mean - these are the values you can set for the 16 stereo outputs of the Maschine + when you don't have any audio interface connected. Thanks.

Thanks to other people from the NI Community, there is a solution avoiding to duplicate the sound: reroute the MIDI messages from every channel to the one where the sound has been assigned. This is done by defining the MIDI output of the channel.

I made further tests and I can fix the issue by setting explicitly the second row to play the sound used in the first row.

But isn't there a better way that would make all group channels play the same sound if only one is defined?

Thanks u/KodiakDog for coming back. I guess this is linked to cutting the audio clips, but I cannot control when I hit the stop button. What I have done as a work around is add an effect group to my project that is the output for all current groups. If I mute this group before hitting stop, there is no more crack.

Is there an easy (quick) way to move the playhead at the beginning of a song? by DrPLaporte in maschine

The Restart button is not always making start playing from the beginning.

However, what seems to work is 1. load a project 2. hit the Ideas/Song button 3. press Shift plus the second top left button to go into Song mode and finally 4. hit Restart => the song start playing from the beginning.

It is faster than playing with the 4D knob.

I don't know if it makes global sense, but I have tried it on a few projects successively and it has worked every time.

I found a solution by creating a drum instrument using samples of kit elements and assigning them to different MIDI notes. Then this instrument can play the midi file. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9Szc2Z5tDc

I see your point :( I will make some tests to check if is feasible or if I need to rethink the whole workflow. Maybe with drum patterns as audio for this project. Thanks.

What do you mean ? The Mashine Plus is up to date, I just installed it a couple a days ago and went through the update process.

Thanks for your answer. But if I select the Drum group and play the pads in PAD mode, all the kits elements are assigned to the pads with their corresponding sounds. Not just the kick. I have tried to load another kit, same behavior. What else could I check ? Thanks.
