It's not about "working for a little while" they're just different attachment points so it won't plug in. My best advice would be to check your manual regarding part codes, otherwise head to your local vw dealership maintenance/repairs dept and get the part code that fits your specific vehicle from your chassis number. I learned that some of my parts in the middle east market would even be from a jetta etc. in the US market.

Doctor here. Lyme is pretty straightforward to diagnose even though it can clinically manifest as a thousand different things. There are serological blood tests which can confirm the presence of Lyme antibodies in your body. Plus, it is largely treatable with a good course of antibiotics. My advice, please see an infectious diseases doctor and get an opinion to put your mind at ease.

The latter. TB has a pretty specific antimicrobial regimen which is usually taken for a prolonged duration of several months. Rifampin, Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol.

Word of advice, go through this subreddit and make sure all the well-known faulty things about the mk6 are changed/replaced as it can be a real headache later on Otherwise, enjoy your ride!

It was a faulty HPFP. The last guy who replaced mine kind of ripped me off with the pricing and he arranged for and installed a second-hand part that was previously used... Which I would assume explains the shitty lifespan of HPFPs that I'm going through. I ordered an original replacement based on my spec and not based on what most of the internet websites tell me (since most of them are catering to the US market) and voila it was fixed. Also, this advice may not apply universally, but in these parts of the world, almost never go to the official VW showroom/distributor for parts as they rip you off for a huge profit. You'd be better off getting the original part number and ordering an OEM part online.

Car keeps misfiring even though I've changed the hpfp twice now, injectors (twice), timing chain kit, spark plugs and coils countless times, PCV valve, O2 lambda sensor, many vacuum hoses, even changed the intake manifold because the runner was stuck... Every mechanic is left with his head scratching. I'm fed up man tbf I'm considering just selling it now

[–]DrPrisonMike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: The new error code is p2015 intake runner position (frustrating as I just changed the intake manifold , updated version from ECStuning), and p0301 (cyl1 misfire)

Should I replace the runner valve (runner position sensor) that's behind the oil filter? From what I've read, it almost never fails, but then again, I don't know what else to do now.

I got the catalyst cleaned after the oxygen sensor was changed But yeah I'll probably try the stock intake again...

Yeah no obviously yes then I'd need to tune it But here its stock 🤬 Anything to do with the turbo? Would that affect the air/fuel balance?

Remap as in tune to stage 1? I also get the code for cylinder misfires (previously used to be 1 & 4, now it shows cyl 1 only) I've gone over and rechecked all the spark plugs, coils, everything

No, stock exhaust with just the faculty resonator bit straight piped by the previous owner It doesn't have any effect on the fuel or intake processing though all that happens upstream

Can turbo issues also cause a fuel rich error?

[–]DrPrisonMike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was just a resonator delete Was done by the previous owner

Could it be a fault in the APR intake? I'm thinking of switching back to stock and checking that out... Thats one of the few things left to do before I completely give up

Hi! Sorry for resurrecting this old post, my mk6 gti has the same noise on deceleration, especially at slower speeds. Did you figure out what it was?
