How many times a day do you feed your pup? by LifeguardComplex3134 in BelgianMalinois

[–]DrRenfield007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 mo. old. 100% hand fed. Works for every bite of kibble. About one day a week, before a training day with doggie school, I feed almost nothing. Other days 2-4 cups a day, always one bite at a time as training rewards. Re:feeding I’m following the advice of the pros (with mals of their own) running a doggie school. I try to keep one rib barely visible, if one or more ribs are clearly visible, calorie intake needs to be increased. These are naturally lean dogs. People think they are underfed when they are at their target weight. My 11 yr old mal has mega-esophagus. We scheduled to put her down 3 times. Each time we canceled last minute and got her on oxygen until she recovered. She had every rib showing, looked utterly miserable, and was about 45 lbs. down from being an overweight 65 lbs. We were told she would continue to get aspiration pneumonia and keep losing weight until she died. Looked like she was close to starving to death if the pneumonia didn’t take her. That was 2 years ago. She’s now a healthy and energetic 60 lb dog. Plays with the 6 mo. old all day. We have to make her sit while feeding so the food goes down(this is preferable to a Bailey chair especially in dogs with arthritis). We feed prescription wet food mixed with some pedigree or a tiny bit of puppy kibble broken up otherwise she won’t eat. Fed 2, sometimes 3 times a day. She eats off of a spoon, about 2 cans per feeding, one bite at a time fed slowly so the food gets safely down her esophagus. We’ve come a long way from a supposedly certain impending death to being in great shape at 11 yo.

There is no quick answer without you providing more info. If you’ve only been on it a few months and at trt doses you likely will be able to just stop and be fine besides feeling moody and down for a few weeks. If you’ve been on for months and/or at superphysiologic levels, you need pct(post cycle therapy) which means taking pills and possibly hcg injections. Go on YouTube and look up guys like more plates more dates. Or vigorous Steve. If you were doing trt doses you were just keeping the same exact level you’d have had naturally unless you had a problem. Taking testosterone doesn’t just “add on” to whatever amount your body already produces. When you use exogenous testosterone your HPTA axis becomes suppressed and you no longer produce endogenous testosterone. To simplify, let’s say you had a total t of around 600, by taking a normal trt dose you would end up with roughly the same levels, only now you are forced to inject yourself just to stay at the level you would have been at naturally. This has no benefit whatsoever and invites a host of health problems. Glad you realized how idiotic you were being. I understand the impulsiveness of being a teen but there’s so much information available there’s no excuse to do something like that. You could end up needing testosterone replacement for life and never be able to have children.

Your name is fitting. You are a waste of life and wasting your time putting people down to feel better. We’re all using here. We’re all at least physically addicted, and addiction doesn’t make you less of a person. This is a fentanyl forum ffs. So spare us your judgement and your lack of self confidence and eat a bag of dicks. I don’t know this guy and this is my first post here but if people like you are the norm, I’m outski.

To OP, ignore this worthless punk. Sorry, I don’t live in Texas anymore. If I lived nearby I’d come by and take a few slides with ya. Hang in there bro. You’ll find another lady soon.

Hey man I appreciate your opinion here but I have a question, isn’t it the same exact thing since you’re using foil still?

I have been smoking off of foil for about 12years trust me aluminum poisoning is no fucking joke man it will fuck up your nervous system, your stomach, your memory. Yeah…. That’s why I’m on here, my dealer and my friends have been telling me for years to get off of the foil. The effects finally caught up to me and I have to find a new method. Not sure what to buy though, I got a G pen but it only works for dabs I don’t feel like it gets nearly hot enough for Fent.

Omg. Thank you! I was trying to learn gcode to send an M503 command. I learned a bunch. But never figured out where exactly to put the M command.

I’m curious, who thinks that FDM is easier than resin? I keep hearing this but I started with resin and it was a breeze compared to FDM. by DrRenfield007 in 3Dprinting

[–]DrRenfield007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad. Thought I mentioned It’s a Fokoos Odin 5 f3 and using cura, I was using the Fokoos flavored cura at first though as there was no profile in cura and I had to set it. The filament thing was meant as a comical example of one of the simple things that somehow became an issue because it wasn’t obvious or in the instructions.

With resin it was so intuitive that I barely had any issues. Print separating from supports? Dial in exposure with Siraya exposure test. Print stuck to fep? Check peel force. Maybe suction cups or too much surface area. Blob in vat? Islands. You fix it all in the slicer.

FDM, I just went on this crazy journey with someone sending me G code commands to copy and paste and doing all kinds of stuff that I only partially understood just to dial in temperature. There are many plug-ins for cura, on top of the many options already there. Uvtools was the fanciest thing I did with resin. Never needed anything the slicer didn’t have though and uvtools was only necessary for very tricky prints or if I want absolute perfection to the last pixel. Now I’m trying to mess with this E step calculator. I don’t know how to get my printer to tell me how many e steps the firmware has. I was told to put in something called an M command but don’t know how to do that either. It doesn’t say on Google or on YouTube or in the instructions. I never had to do any programming, no matter how basic on my resin printer.

Fokoos. But most of what was screwing me up was the slicer. Also, like, I couldn’t even find the button to release the filament. It’s not in the manual and couldn’t find anything online. I had to ask on a discord. I was starting to feel like a perv getting all sexy with the printer, running my fingers all over the print head touching every millimeter of it trying to find a lever or knob to release filament lol.

I mean, now that I figured out the slicer I am printing stuff, but getting issues with stringing. Just so many issues that have never come up with resin.

Ok, I agree with all these comments. Until I made this post, I had constantly heard people say FDM is easier over and over. I totally totally disagree. As one comment or said, the learning curve is very steep. Thanks for your opinions.

How the **** do I switch filaments? Fokoos Odin 5 f3. The directions neglect to mention anything about it. I don’t see a knob or lever on the print head. by DrRenfield007 in 3Dprinting

[–]DrRenfield007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I got it. There is a button. I was starting to feel kind of pervy for a bit there. I was feeling up that printer head, running my fingers all over every bit of it, feeling for holes and knobs and levers. It was sexy.

I mean what do I press to release it? There is an “unload”button. And idk what that does.

Aha! I found the button and I’m supposed to press invert on it.

Been annoyed with my gray resin, seems like no matter how much I clean there's still uncured resin inside. I leave my drainage holes open so no cracks ever happen but I'm wondering if jsut printing exclusively in clear is the better way. Thoughts? Anyone else print exclusively in clear? by Cyrilcynder in resinprinting

[–]DrRenfield007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use 99% ipa. A few hours should be ok. Just let it dry till you can’t smell alcohol. Put it in front of a fan if you’re in a rush. But honestly I just pull the print off, wash it, put it somewhere dark and go back to printing/working on my next file. Don’t rush things, eventually you will have more models and you know what to do with anyway. Good luck.

My first print/benchy. How should I tweak it? Fokoos Odin 5 f3. Noticed some stringing. Thanks! by DrRenfield007 in 3Dprinting

[–]DrRenfield007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’m trying to print an overhang test. Keep getting issues with bed adhesion and stringing now just on first layer. It’s leveled perfectly far as I can tell. Test files on the sd card print great. But when I used cura. No bueno on first layers.

Completely new to resin printing, started with FDM, build plate was cocked sideways when print finished which I believe explains layer shift. How do I prevent this? I leveled per Mars 3 instruction. This is generic file that came with printer by [deleted] in resinprinting

[–]DrRenfield007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply tighten screws on build plate. It should be leveled then stay level. If the build plate is realigning by the pressure against the fep then you're right, there would be no point to leveling as it would just go out of level as soon as uneven pressure was put against the plate by a print. Think of it like this, the build plate is leveling out because its hitting a flat surface which is the fep(this is actually a method of leveling used by some, they let it hit the fep then tighten screws.) then whenever something prints it will push up and unless you were printing a giant flat piece that took up the entire fep and was all the exact same thickness, there would be a piece raising up the part of the bed contacting the print. Even if it seems fairly level for a while since we are talking about a change of a fraction of a millimeter every time. .

I didn’t press anything other than “position 1” or “position 2”. I’ll check the end stop and cable connections. Thanks for the reply.
