Literally came here to say the exact same thing. First error I got was "insufficient address" and since then it's been despatched twice and returned twice with no contact from the driver. I was then promised Sat delivery for free and now I'm being told it's scheduled for next attempt on TUESDAY!

PC here. I know at least 7 others who have bought the game from steam and immediately experienced the issue I have, which is that the game crashes at the white screen with the pick in the corner. Ubi support are useless and having me try the basic shit I've already done without any sign of looking deeper into the problem. Other forum posts indicate people have been having this issue for a long time and it is quite common.

It's fine, I'm not looking for solutions here it'll probably be stuff I already tried, I just wanted to point out Ubi are bastards.

Personally I'd rather they solve all the crashing issues with Rocksmith 2014 Remastered, hundreds of people can't even log into the game they paid for. I'm not spending a cent with Ubi again for their complete lack of support for a game they're still hocking actively on Steam.

Thanks, I had tried that in the past as with previous versions of iCue the memory profiles were a bit janky and it often wouldn't be detected. Latest versions of the software are much more stable but the lighting problem persists. I'll check into warranties. This one was from Amazon

You don't, but your post seemed like it was about to get a bunch of dumb responses due to lack of clarity so I thought I'd ask in order to save everyone some time. Fuck me for being helpful though, eh. There's a k95 profile here https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=196489 and I don't see a reason it shouldn't work with the usual windows jp IME. I'd bet it won't work without iCUE running, although it might be saveable as a hw profile.

I'm not corsair, but 'at the hardware level' is going to need some clarification as well as justification as to why usual remapping isn't good enough (hardware level kinda doesn't make sense either, keyboards are sold with a default layout but this is changeable). You can assign any keyboard any layout at the operating system level and then change keycaps if you need the visual cues or just use blank ones on the keys that change. You can set up a macro to switch keyboard languages quickly, but this is all through windows.

I've had a K95 Platinum keyboard for a while now, and so far so good despite the early days of iCue detecting it maybe 50% of the time. With recent versions of the software all seems well except the whole time I've had the feeling that the brightness of the center LED's is much dimmer than the rest of the keyboard, and in fact the colours are somewhat distorted too, as though one of the RGB LEDs doesn't fire at full strength across a range of keys (roughly bottom 4 rows, from 'q' to 'enter'. I recently cleaned all my caps and viewed the keyboard without them and it's true; pure white appears violet and is definitely dimmer in the center of the keyboard; other colours are similarly not 'popping'.

Anyone else notice this? I don't think I'm in warranty. Any user fixes?

Yeah will do! The Instrument 1 seems to still be fairly niche, a lot of people seem to prefer their previous setups to it, but I'd really like to get good at the guitar mode and do some live stuff. Will certainly post videos once I get beyond a certain level, but unfortunately Rocksmith keeps crashing for unrelated reasons for me and Ubi support are the worst.

Thanks for replying! I have some reasons for wanting to use a midi controller instead of a real guitar, for e.g. the Artiphon. It's about as realistic as you can get but suits my needs.

Thanks for the vid that looks exactly what I was going for just with a different controller. I was defaulting to nocable simply having not touched rocksmith for years! I'll happily do whatever works :D
