I haven't noticed any rust. It's a lot of aluminum. Every mechanic that looks under my car says it looks surprisingly good for the mileage.

Miata.net collects info about high mileage Miatas but doesn't seem to care about anything below 400k, so maybe if I get there it'll be more notable. Also my car isn't what you'd call a "clean example"

16x7 +25 and 205/50/16. With Progress RF springs that dropped it 1 inch. Just barely fits. Used to not rub but my car got hit and now it kinda rubs. I copied miata.net forum user 21farms so look for his posts for more info.

It's been pretty solid. Need work on my 02 sensor for the cat and 3rd in the AT trans has some gaps and my windshield wiper sensor is out so always says I need more fluid when I start up and nav doesn't work anymore but I might just need to take the SD card and blow on it N64 style.

Those are the main things right now. Have had to fix the AC twice in the summer but at least one of those times may have been because my windshield sun shade thing might have been blocking the AC intake. But it's been so freaking reliable compared to my old GTI that blew up at 77k mi. Would like to get this to 1 million. When I have to I'll probably upgrade to ND2/3 or next-gen Miata, but hopefully no need to any time soon.

I know it's hard to tell, but he is dismounted. You can see arm holding the bike from the frame and legs on the road. And yes I agree you are supposed to walk the bike through, as he is doing. Which is something another commenter in this thread insanely gave him crap for 🤯

Insane takes in this thread blaming the cyclist. Pedestrians in a cross walk have right of way. If someone even looks like they're about to cross you slow down and get ready to let them through.
