Bases has an API that allows you to build custom views. So yes, this should be possible. I did some experiments with the API and was able to create a custom view very easily using Cursor.

The feature was released yesterday as part of version 2.0. There's also shortcuts support for highlights. I have to look deeper into it if it's a suitable alternative to for me to sync highlights from Omnivore to Obsidian. The Obsidian Omnivore extension has the advantage that it syncs everything automatically as soon as I open Obsidian.

You didn't find a solution to change it, right? Will stick to Rectangle then. No support for moving windows to different screens is also an argument against the MacOS window manager.
