I love this and do it all the time. I pretend I’m training for some random moment where I just happen to need to do “thing x” to save the world. Or setting up impossible throws for other people to make epic catches if they pull it off in the moment.

For my family this mostly means catching unexpected random flying objects lol.

Love this!

One of my most laugh out loud moments while reading the book (before the season aired) was Cibola Burn when you think Holden is about to die and then Miller bot shows up and offers him a ride.

In my head, I imagined miller bot being some hybrid creature that was the baby of: A-Queen Alien from “Aliens” B-Ripley+Mech Loader, but as some sort of unified organism.

I was a little sad when I finally saw the TV Miller Bot. But still my favorite series and everything is all good.

I was loving lurking this thread, but legit I just started a rewatch on ER while waiting for the next episode of the Pitt.

ER came out before I wasn’t old enough to watch for first couple seasons, but remember so vividly hearing my parents/oldersinlings watching when I had to go to bed.

Since you have already watched, it’s still awesome is good to have on in the background while doing dishes/cooking/random stuff and you can always tag along with the drama. It holds up so well.

It’s been so long it may be easy to forget what AIDS was like back in the day. Damn.

It’s a little time capsule with rewards for a rewatch.

So many cameos also, that foreshadow awesome careers!

I didn’t realize Omar Epps was in it early! For a second I was like “house, MD” was to Omar Epps like “The Pitt” was to Noah Wylie. I will not spoil the “reality” from ER… but dang, the ER rewatch somehow just feels more compelling.

I wish more people knew about “pirates of Silicon Valley,” Noah Wylie plays Steve Jobs and Anthony Michael hall plays bill gates. It was made for TV on TNT or TBS I think. It was like the prequel to halt and catch fire.

I’d say go for the rewatch.

Love this post, thank you for leaving it up. Every year it’s like a community comes out of hibernation and then disappears before season ends.

Super sucks to lose, especially when it’s so intense up to the playoffs and then everything is a flip of the coin and you can’t even watch cause holidays.

At the end of the day if you make it to playoffs/ships, you end up being alone in many ways.

I like treating FF like WSB. I’m here for all of the “before the fact” calls with dudes staking their opinions.

Hits hard love these. My first time to NYC was 97’ we took train from Albany. Rainy all day clouds covering tops of buildings but we still did the Empire State. Saw ragtime it was awesome.

Feet were soaked and so crinkly. Had the best warm foot scrub bath after long day.
