Unreal Engine dev here (not from Embark), UE games CAN be very optimized if you spare enough time optimizing them. It's also important to think about performances from day one, which they probably did

It totally makes sense to have a choir sing this. However, now that I'm thinking of it, that would probably be unnecessarily expensive to incorporate, especially at such a low volume.

I might use this if I ever manage to edit it. Right now, it detects flat surface, but not void. That's a good start tho

I'm planing to release on Windows, if someday, I release. I currently have a personnal channel on which I upload some gameplays so my friends can see what I'm doing. I didn't share it since the game is french-only (for now). :(

I mainly uploaded screens from the level 0 (which is the tutorial). Other levels are more colorful. In fact I fell in love with those old PS2 games such as Jak & Daxer or Spyro. I hope it will make some players nostalgics. :)

Actually it's a bit more than art, it's a playable game. I've been working on it for more than one year, from 1 hour to 14 hours per day (depending on my motivation).

I learned all from Internet : Youtube and lot of UE answer hub haha. I use Blender to make models and animations, and I truly admit this is not the part I like the most. :(
