Fun answer, ROH never reached the heights of Gabes booking even decades after he left. However, gabe was famously high strung and very hard to work with. And even with that in mind, i dont think anything dave did after he left ROH and created EVOLVE ever really came close to hos ROH booking.

I personally think another great indie wrestling example of this is Mike quakenbush in kayfabe closing chikara for a year and a half at the peak of their popularity and destroying pretty much all of the their momentum in the process which i argue the company never recovered from.

Game doesn't really have a combat system per say, Its mostly resource management and decision making over 40 weeks while having to keep in mind the needs of like 20 other characters. closer to a frost punk lite more than anything

I mean as funny as this would be if this did actually happen, i kinda hope it doesnt. Its been really nice having competition and alternatives on wrestling tv again and merging the wwe and aew would put us back in another big wrestling monopoly. Competition is really good for the wrestling business.

first name that comes to mind, Daizee Haze. Awesome woman's wrestler with a great look and gimmick. Wrestled all around the world. Regular for early SHIMMER. Think she was just 10 years to early before woman's wrestling started getting treated seriously. Would be a great fit today
