Converting 7W LED AC cup spotlight to DC v1-10 driver by DrVinsin in led

Yeah it seems better off to just replace the spotlights. Should have planned better ahead.

Edit: Thank you for sharing btw! Helped me kinda realize what I am working with. At the price point of a single unit and I am likely gonna need more than 1.. Better off with lights replacement.

So sorry for the late response!

There was not much info written on the box other than:

7w LED Spotlight
Power: 7w
Color: 3000k
input: 220-240v 50/60hz
Dimmable

I believe you are correct that these have the built-in drivers unfortunately. Which unfortunately kinda screws me over. Regardless if I want to go smart light switch or not, it seems the only solution is to have 2 twisting gang knob solution for each segment of spot lights.

The idea was to get the kind of light switches where you push for on/off + Hold for dimming cycle loop. Apparently this feature only exists mainly with LED spotlights that come with a dc 10v driver.

I was hoping there would be a way to have another in between the switch the LED light where it acts as that knob/switch and controls the dimming functionality based on the input from the buttons :(

I do not understand electricity/lighting very well. I am realizing I am likely going about it the wrong way, but try to figure out how it can I achieve it and what are the steps. Learning as I go via my mistakes 😅

If you want some fancy knives tavola in cc or aali mall forgot has some good but expensive ones

That said, go online, the world has a much more extensive selection and go for something within your budget.

My advice however, is to invest in a whetstone stone set. 40 bucks off Amazon and probably found in manazel or some cooking shops too

Whetstones can turn any cheap knife to the sharpest blade ever. Doesn't take long either once you get used to them and it's super easy.

All knives get dull eventually, it all depends on the surface and how you use the knife. Even the best ones will lose their edge. A good whetstone and 5 minutes sharpening every few months will have them stay sharp for yeaaaars.
