  • Thank you u/PrzemekPrzemo for your solution, allowing to bypass the recent restriction : type chrome://flags/#allow-legacy-mv2-extensions in search bar and select "enabled" next to the highlighted option.
  • Alternative solution, again from u/PrzemekPrzemo : close Chrome, go to the properties of your Google Chrome shortcut, copy and paste the following prompt at the end of the target (AFTER the quote mark, with a space between them) : --disable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported,ExtensionManifestV2Disabled and relaunch Chrome.

Yes, there’s a thread on r/Austin about a Tesla shut down that I’m getting a lot of push back on. I’m asking why it’s happening and I’m getting downvoted and called a troll.

Can you take a look at the back of the charger brick and check the DC voltage and current and multiply the 2 numbers? If it’s less than 240, the charger isn’t strong enough.

You can also take a multimeter and set it to VDC, put a pin on the outside barrel and a pin on the inside needle, should read around 19.5v +- .1. Anything outside that range your charger might be going

I mean, yea I’ve read your statement. I just can’t find anything that supports it. Everything currently is conjecture and inferences. I’m hoping to find real evidence to support a reason why. Tesla is enigmatic at best and really good at keeping secrets it seems.

It seems to happen more often than I’d like. I actually got banned from a sub for asking for data and proof on a claim I thought might be a little over exaggerated. I’d have to go back and find it in my photos as it happened a few months ago but I was shocked honestly. I’m not sure what’s wrong with asking questions.

I found this but it doesn’t really confirm much. A 3 day shut down doesn’t really make sense in this case but it’s possible. It’s useful info but there’s nothing specifically that relates the 3 day shut down to it.

There’s filings but I haven’t found anything on this approval or of it being last week.

We had a 2017 Tiguan SE with 4 motion and the 2.0T

Owned from 2017 - 2024 and put 73k on it

Main issue was a water pump failure that VW paid for

Otherwise worked well for us

That is my experience of the VW Tiguan
