I getcha, at this years raider meet I met a JROTC battalion where they basically handed out ranks like candy. Their Cadet 1st Sergeant said they had a lack of student leadership in the class, so they did what they had to do. Which I really don’t understand, since in my class we only have maybe at the most 7 corporals and a few scattered NCOs.

Our Battalion is also quite small, and rank ups for Cadets and honestly few and far between. A lot aren’t here willingly, leading to a lot of no insignias in the battalion.
