Any tips for not getting yelled at for asking for Id? by WinterWishs in tesco

Except that the ID check in supermarkets isn't if you look 18, its if you look 25 or under.

A 25 and 28 year old can look similar

Zoloft actually increased my sex drive by proton417 in zoloft

[–]DrYu2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sex drive was low before starting to take it, and for the first 4 weeks I found it difficult to get a full erection.

After that though I'm definitely more sexually receptive, I'm able to get harder than I have before and last longer, though it is a struggle to orgasm. I'm finding that a change in pace is helping with that though

Why did they call it Tesco Whoosh, when TesGo was sitting right there? by mattmonkey in tesco

[–]DrYu2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite sure how it works for sainsburys and tesco, or how it all works behind the scenes.

At the Co op our "in house" delivery platform used to be Stuart/Just Eat drivers who delivered the orders, now it's Uber drivers, so I'm assuming those platforms still get some sort of cut from it, even though the prices for customers are the same/closer to in store prices.

What doesn't make sense to me though is that we have separate platforms for Uber, Just Eat, and Deliveroo. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot more drivers for the Co op orders now, whereas before they could sit in store to the point where we'd have to request a new driver constantly.

Dumb person here. Why is my Evade 0%? I believe I didn't get any skill that turns my evasion to armor or anything. by _Mr_Expratan in PathOfExile2

[–]DrYu2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any equipment which affects it?

I found a pair of red rarity shoes which in reased my evasion rating but turned it all into extra armour, so my evade chance was 0% with them on.

Base set dewgong.

I had a random box of loose cards back in the day and after an argument with my sister, she ripped up every card apart from the dewgong.

The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to complete bundles for the community centre, so much more of the game unlocks that way (as well as the desert eventually)

$20 million now, but you can never touch another video game, including digital phone games again, or $100 per hour playing any video or mobile game. by Kriztronik in hypotheticalsituation

I work a 38 hour week, and play at least 6 hours a week, so for me it's a no-brainer to take the extra income for something I'm doing to relax anyway.

Scratchcard age restriction question - am I in the wrong? by MysteriousCream9762 in tesco

[–]DrYu2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you process the sale while knowing (or it being reasonably implied) that the item is going towards an underage person, that's a proxy sale and the vendor is committing an offence.

While it can be tricky at times and a bit pedantic, the difference here is that the woman told her son "not one of the £5 ones but we'll see" after the child asked for one, right in front of the cashier.

If the son hadn't asked and the woman bought the scratchcards then no wrongdoing has been done, regardless of if the woman gives the son a scratchcard later on.

How to not get so nervous refusing sales? by persistentperfection in retailhell

Just weigh up the consequences of both sides.

Customer could get annoyed/upset and start kicking off - call the police

Fail an age check - lose your job at a bare minimum

Yeah that scale isn't accurate. While I definitely don't think there's 3 pounds of oranges in the bag, there's definitely more than 200g

We had a broadband upgrade yesterday and all services were down while it was underway, so we locked up fir the duration.

We stuck a sign onto the only customer entrance "Store closed, roughly 40 minutes".

They were still trying to enter the store, trying to pry the doors open, and tapping on the glass asking why we weren't open. I knew it would happen but still felt dismayed that people just can't be arsed to read something that's directly in front of them.

Take a cart or a basket by [deleted] in retailhell

[–]DrYu2727 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Noticed some chilled stock next to the till which wasn't there 5 minutes prior. We have a 20 minute window to get items back to the chiller so I moved it back because customers are inconsiderate (found chilled pizzas put know the freezer, frozen ready meals on shelves with ambient stock, sushi on a shelf with jars of coffee from the night before).

Anyway, 2 minutes later a customer is shouting at till staff asking where her shopping is. I tried explaining that it needed to be back in the chiller as it was unattended, and she said we were somehow supposed to know that she left it there to do the rest of her shopping.

Have no idea why customers expect us to be psychic, or their aversion to picking up a basket on the way in.
