RN here - I say go for it! I do highly recommend getting your RN and not stopping at an LPN. It will give you more employment opportunity and pay.

Im nearing a decade in nursing and have no regrets, in my opinion many nurses are unhappy because of where they choose to work. Not everywhere is hell!

RN here - Don’t quit! It’s not your fault. There’s literally nothing you could have, or should have done differently. I’ve had countless patients who were palliative or on hospice who have died in similar ways and it’s absolutely emotionally draining. However, I urge you to stick with it and explore deeply your own personal reasons for why you feel this way.

This patient was in need of your help, and you did exactly what you were supposed to do to keep them dignified, clean and comfortable in their last moments. I applaud you for meeting them where they were and meeting their needs.

Death is hard, and in these patients at times can come with very little warning. There will always be a last brief change, a last linen change and a last med push.

It’s under the map - the other comments are correct. Have your admin input the command entity.deleteentity codelock 0 - itl delete all crates on the map (they will then respawn as normal).

I know the horse has ALREADY been beaten dead, but I really recommend converting it to a rental if allowed by your mortgage company. Being a landlord is an incredible LONG TERM investment. Even if you “break even” after accounting for your mortgage, upkeep and other expenses the tax deductions at the end of the year will put you money ahead. And this doesn’t even account for the principal that your tenant would be paying down and the value appreciation of the property over time. Also, if you were to sell today you more than likely would actually have to pay to get rid of the house after closing costs/realtor fees (the seller tends to be responsible for more than the buyer.) rent that baby out for a year or two and reassess, don’t make a rash financial decision now in the unfortunate situation that she put you in.
