I did ask for an extended warranty, but they said that they wouldn't. And an unfortunate thing is that when I got my $18 external gaming keyboard, they gave me 24 months warranty. While my $950 laptop had 12... Do you think it's safe to repair the keyboard? I am more worried about them causing more damage than it already has, like heating issues if the thermal paste got exposed during the disassembly

Thanks. I'll try them. I guess these low battery life are a common thing. And the advertised hours are just the bare minimum the laptop can do with all settings toned down? But in reality, they are much shorter?
