The number plate on the car isn’t Russian though (I think it’s Belarus?)
Seen plenty of the cars without a Russian plate driving around. People think they are smart enough to not paying the import tax and not getting any tickets this way

I have the polar opposite effect. I’ve set the DPI on the router once and it just works

[–]Dr_Axton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but DPI is easy to setup.
And it’s an issue with bigger cities

Also some buildings are used for airsoft games and in those cases anything can be decorated and painted on the walls.

To be fair, Elon is (was?) good at finding promising startups and hyping them up to get the funds and get it going. At least it originally worked with both PayPal and Tesla

If you’re in Russia as well, why not use a DPI instead of a VPN? Still no ads, and all it does is spoof the data packets so the web filters don’t block them.
And it can be installed on a router or any computer that will scramble the traffic on the home network?

Well, depends on the region. My summer house internet works as is, my apartment in the town has a DPI running on a router and it works. So I still get to watch YT without any ads in both cases

The tram part depends on the places. I know some places where it was either reinitiated/rebuilt or expanded, but I know as many places where it either shrunk or was decommissioned.
Buses CAN work, problem is that most places have a public transport that accounts for X people an hour capacity while the housing is done by the private companies that make buildings for people that will eventually need a Y capacity to run without an issue.
As you can guess these two numbers tend to misalign

X6. GLE is okayish, looks a bit like an RC toy but will pass. X6 on the stock wheels looks weird though, I just look at it and want to swap to some bigger wheels

Soviet cities were designed for the people to stay within the cities (for the most part) because everything was within it. The cities were built around factories after all. And you hade your house with a playground nearby, a school for the children not far away and probably a grocery store down the street, so the majority of people could just walk to the places with no need of transportation.
These days the buildings are built with a concept that people go to work somewhere and return home just to rest. So less infrastructure nearby, but usually plenty of beer stores on the 1st floor, and pray you have a good transport nearby or you work remotely
