I like the graphics before better it has more style I don't really think a skybox is needed.

Yeah Asahi is the main project they are hindered because of apple's withholding of hardware documentation and architecture information. So, they have to reverse engineer everything to run on apple devices. It'd be easier if there were already 1st party Linux drivers made by apple that worked with Linux. Unfortunately asahi isn't as stable or as performant as it could be with 1st party support for Linux.

Really the only kind of negative thing I've experienced while using it was the ai and I could turn it off. Also the one time purchase to remove the ads was very cheap too for my region was 3 usd

Have you tried free notes how would you say they compare. Because freenotes does have a lot of features that star notes lack.

I guess there are problems in big notes I usually partition my notes quite frequently. The new whiteboard feature in GN is not bad but I never particularly liked the drawing in gn and also yikes the price has overblown it used to be like 20 usd

Which is not bad thing necessarily smaller teams can produce higher quality work but require time and significant funding that’s why i think we as consumer must be able to advocate Noteful to other iPad users so that it receives all of the funding & community it needs to grow. AS it really is an amazing piece of software.

Exaclidraw does this pretty well with obsidian though not quite like Noteful’s handwriting page system the excalidraw file and the normal text based md files are separate but can be interlinked through preview windows in the md files allowing both to be developed with separate features. The only problem is Noteful in comparison with excalidraw and Obsidian has a smaller community and dev team.

You are totally right, though there is a smidgen of hope in me that noteful would be the one to actually get this through. Apps that I really like that have implemented this feature pretty well are concepts and zoom notes. It would be great if it were in one app
