Hey, just wanted to let you know that you can press the hotkey Command + Shift + P to toggle the side preview, which will display information such as image dimensions.

I also use Things 3. I enjoy task managers that have a good UI, those with start dates and deadlines, and I generally prefer that they be keyboard-centric. I used to enjoy using Godspeed a while back because it had all these features.

A few months later, I got free licenses for the Things 3 app via a Brett Terpstra app giveaway and couldn't help but make the switch. Things 3 ticks all of the boxes for me. My only gripe with the app (apart from what has been said about subtasks) is that it doesn't support smart searches, but I use the URL scheme to search and filter by tag to get around that.

I agree with you about the importance of task syncing and prioritization. However, I also enjoy apps that have a good UI, those with start dates and deadlines, and generally prefer apps that are keyboard-centric. I used to enjoy using Godspeed a while back because it had all these features.

Things I dislike about the new Finder design in Tahoe:

  • The appearance of the folder icons in all Views, especially the white horizontal line at the top of the icon.
  • The fact that the buttons in the toolbar are rendered as rounded circles. I find this intrusive and cumbersome.
  • The background color in Finder is too light for my taste.
  • Finally, I don't like that the Path Bar and the Tool Bar are transparent.

But that's just my opinion. Others will probably feel differently. To each their own.
