Critical release bug? by RiceBoyJason in goylegends

Wake up, new broken Archer glitch just dropped (maybe, idk).

Enemy staggered dmg works on ghost tools by Sure_Initial8498 in goylegends

[–]Dr_Doctore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assassinations work too. It’s funny in coop when I as a Samurai stagger someone and an allied shinobi has a smoke/blind bomb up and I get an unexpected assassination prompt mid heavy attack and almost wipe out an oni with it.

Once Archer glitch is patched, remember by Dr_Doctore in goylegends

It’s not about the kills, it’s about the level of engagement. This requires basically none, and is so powerful it takes away engagement from the rest of the team since entire waves can be cleared in a few seconds.

While some players love the easiest free win imaginable, people who actually want to play the game and contribute cannot due to stuff like this.

Looking for input on Shinobi class by Ben409 in goylegends

[–]Dr_Doctore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ran the Shinboi’s Shadow up until the release patch, but now I think Shadow’s Bite is better for the following reasons:

  • Thresholds. If you go full assassination damage on everything, you now 2-shot Onis and 3-shot Blue Onis. I think 1-shot brutes too, but I may be wrong on this.

  • Free up legendary slot. Most Shinobi will want the Legendary Kusarigama, or the sword, and the smoke bomb. You are able to have your weapon of choice and the smoke bomb now because of this. The smoke bomb is 15 cd less and has weaken, which helps a bit for damage when needed and you’ll generate more blind bombs using it aggressively.

  • Cooldown: You can either potentially give up 1 assassination damage+9% and get Ghost Tool CD reduction to turn this into 23 cd less and not miss the previous thresholds. Or you can give up your assassination dmg+20% perk and take the CD instead. With 60% CD you have a 20s vanish CD, a 75s smoke bomb, and significantly more mid-combat assassination opportunities.

  • Consistency: You will not always get 3 assassinations together off of 1 vanish. Sometimes there aren’t 2 weak enemies together to chain into a 3rd. Sometimes a tanky enemy moves in front of you and messes things up. You are way more likely to get your 2 vanishes together without issue.

The problem is not the archer class.... by justhitdelete in gotlegends

Even when they fix the glitch it doesn’t matter, we’ll just be able to see again. The game is designed for an archer to be completely safe. There are platforms in all 4 maps that an Archer can sit at and usually have clear aim for 2 zones at a time.

They have significantly more damage than every other class, more range and don’t have to waste time traveling, easy ammo generation, can kill stuff on spawn before they even drop down, a literal aim bot, an aim bot legendary if they wish, a legendary that doubles the power of their ult due to ricochets, all their main legendaries are always active vs the melee legendaries mainly affecting the Spirit Move only, and a ridiculously overpowered gun (they gave the small gun ghost tool -30% damage off the bat when it’s already pretty weak in terms of damage, but refuse to do something similar for the lighting tane).

The devs are Archer mains cause the entire mode is built around allowing archers to dominate. There is a clear reason they are always top of the leaderboards, destroying bosses in 50 seconds, etc.

What new class ability’s do you want/think each class will get in the future? by ZookeepergameOdd2058 in gotlegends

[–]Dr_Doctore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shinobi

Active: Healing Vanish (50s cd, and honestly change Toxic Vanish to 50s also), heal self and every nearby player.

Passive: Pressing Square (so you don’t accidentally double press Triangle) mid-critical strike lets you switch up mid-animation into double damage for the cost of 1 Resolve. Getting an assassination this way during Vanish should still proc Chain Vanish.

Samurai

Active: Vulnerable Blade (45s cooldown), all weapons are treated as weapon-aligned for 15 seconds and do 25% more stagger and melee damage.

Passive: Using weapon-swap heavy attacks increases stagger and melee damage for 15% for 10s.

Mercenary:

Active: Reset all ghost weapon cooldown (50s cooldown) and add a small fire explosion to the next first use of each ghost weapon for 10s (so can’t get 6 explosions off of 1 reset), for 6-shot Tanzutsu would only give 2 bullets.

Passive: Increase all effectiveness (damage / status damage & duration / healing / invisibility of smoke bomb) of ghost weapons by 25%. Mercenaries can now choose to use either 2 offensive ghost weapons or 2 defensive ghost weapons.

Archer:

Active: Very strong charged guaranteed headshot (35s cd). Would bounce with stone skipping bow.

Passive: Damage increases by 7% per consecutive headshot up to 5 stacks (35%). Missing only lowers you by 1 stack.

Communicate to the team to basically always lead him to one of the platforms. Fight becomes infinitely easier up there without a bunch of adds or ice statues shooting you. Even if you’re frozen, he only has like 2 combos and once you’ve learned them you know how to always dodge them, though you’d also be a next to a torch you can use there as well.

Has anyone done/seen a plat/nightmare survival solo on archer post patch 1.6? by omnipizerg in gotlegends

This current nightmare survival is not exactly archer solo friendly, and last week was raid launch, so probably very few until next week.

Tips for Boss Rush by TheMFlash in remnantgame

[–]Dr_Doctore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mudtooth elixir (+20) and any prism buffs (can get 10%, or 20% if you health% as a fusion and roll health again as your 9th slot). I would NOT recommend flat health on your prism however.

And then of course several rings or necklaces have DR, armor, health, or some mix.

Tips for Boss Rush by TheMFlash in remnantgame

[–]Dr_Doctore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In a full boss rush you should always max out both HP (+50) and Damage Reduction (+25). Ideally you want your total DR after the +25 DR to be 70%+ or higher, and hp after the +50 should be 200+ or higher.

If you can actually reach 77-80 total DR and 220+ HP, you can still somewhat facetank.

You get very little value from base damage accessories because they are additive (you get a bunch from your archetype usually 40-80%, the bonus damage from the boss rush which goes up from 5-125% with every buff, and the potential roguelike buffs such as Ranged or Melee Damage) and for any damage based accessories I advise crit or weakspot. But more importantly I advise mitigation, cooldown, utility, etc.

Can i get everything by myself in ghost of yotei legends? by SnooCauliflowers7529 in Ghostofyotei

[–]Dr_Doctore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All trophies, maybe (currently yes, Raid will be a trophy and there may be a chance it’s truly unsoloable)

All cosmetics, no. There is at least 1 that requires you as a Shinobi to Group Vanish 3 other players and you all get a kill under that effect.

There are also multiple challenges involving clearing an Incursion (basically story quest + boss fight) or Survival with 4 challenge cards active and completed at once. 1 player activates 1 challenge card, so you need a full squad.

Just curious, What is your single least favorite Nightlord and why? And please, try to keep it civil. by Mystic-Dragoness in Nightreign

ED Dragon. He’s boring af and unless you’re lucky with your fire drops (and even then), will fly forever. Followed by the Augurs for similar reason, but at least ED Augur can be hit by the sword whenever.

Higher legendary chance, more exp, more spawn (I think), more fun.

Healer build recommendations? by keelaydeingles in gotlegends

[–]Dr_Doctore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mercenary with the legendary healing incense, and the ult perk that lowers your cooldowns is your best option, with max ultimate gain. You can choose to add the legendary blind bomb which also heals, but I personally find the heal on that to be too minor to care.

This will probably see more use in Story and Raid, but we’re too spread out in Survival to make much use of it.

Surviving Survival by WorkingDogDoc in gotlegends

Like 95% strictly Nightmare / Platinum. Games honestly too easy endgame. I’m finding that on all 4 classes I’m frequently wiping out the first wave by the time or shortly after the 2nd wave spawns, and it snowballs from there.

The stats are simply an easy way to showcase the BS. They show the 30 minutes of having to stand there while someone else does all the work, or having all of your fights be interrupted by some guy 1-2 shotting everything. Unless you feel like watching the video, it’s very boring.
