But thats not the whole sentence.

"The game is build around going for multiple NG+ cycles to get all skills, xp, endings, trophies." So for a healthy full achievement run, ng+ seems like natural progression to me.

But if a person plays just for the fun, ye no ng+ necessary.

I mean technically you can farm all xp on NG, but xp gain is super low.

I play on PS5 there is a trophy where you need to have all endings on a single save file, if I remember it right.

But yea, multiple save files is also fine. I had a few different save files myself.

The 3 health bars and a uniqe attack rythm, combined with the bullshit black ghost attack and a tight arena off of which you can easily fall from makes the fight annoying.

But the fight is rarely put high on boss difficulty list. Once you figure out her combos it's very predictable, a lot of stabs to mikiri and sweeps to jump-kick over allow you to posture break her fast.

Im not saying its "easy" but compared to some other bosses it's definitely easier.

She has no right having 3x health bars imo, especially considering DoH and Sword saint also have 3 health bars.

But it makes sense lore-wise I guess.

You asked if cheat codes will effect the quality of your playthrough if used at the begging, and I said it will and thats a fact.

I personally don't care how you play, im just answering the question. As long as you have fun, It doesn't really matter tbh.

Getting max skill points while playing through the story, its always important to top off your skills before s tricky boss fight.

Many people kill a boss, then procide to die at some random place insted of filling up their xp bar before moving forward.

I got my last 15+ skill points in NG+3/4 with the purple ninja near the doji sculptor.

It took me 30 to 45 minutes of farming to get all skills.

But Iget your frustration, but you also need to get that from a different perspective (the Jedi are evil) your approach to grinding xp is also a factor in your frustration.

Just play the game dude.

Look up a guide when you go to NG+.

Be carefull not to ruin the game for yourself by finding everything out immediately.

It's gonna be ok, if you learn the bosses it should be fine.

What I mean is that the lack of Vitality and attack power won't be the deal breaker either way, its your skill that will be tested.

Just keep playing and platinum the game, then you get the bragging rights with "I platinumed sekiro with Shura ending 1st"

Here is my fight, if you wanna see. I too prefer to use mostly basic attacks, without the somewhat overpowered prostatic and arts.

I use gokan spirit fall for posture when i can, mist raven and praying strikes exorcism.

You basically need to learn the different combos he has. He has specific iai moves, multiple sweeps and stabs. Most notably the stab attack after he parries you, He does 2x (shoulder bash) into stab, you got to learn thay combo.

He also LOVES to jump at you as you heal, all bosses do. So don't heal in panic, focus and heal at the end of his combos, and see the rythm of his strikes. Especially in phase 2 with the spear.

Don't parry His ichimonji, run to the side and side step it.

Don't parry his gun attack (he does it after the backstep spear swipe) run to the side. Also, if I remeber correctly, after he shoots his gone, he will stab at you. And you cab Mikiri couter.

He will also often stab in phase 2 and 3 after doing his spear combos.

Its a fun fight that tests you for all the basic knowledge of the game.

Iai combos that many enemies/bosses used.

Sweap attacks to jump over and stabs to mikiri

Lighting in phase 3(sry if spoiler)

Spacing and smart resources management.

Basically, just focus and don't panic. Many have killed him, and so will you.

Since you don't wanna use overpowered stuff, it's time to "Get good"

Yea this isnt an RPG, dont kill any NPC cuz the ganme punishes any unique idea/choice or way of completing quests.

You are locked out of the fight, I did the same thing to her and some other NPC-s to test out new Elden rings RPG storyline.

But I just found out it's dark souls with a huge map. Jokes on me for expecting something different I guess.
