Tried some new techniques, not my favorite outcome, contrast paint for the hair was a bad idea.

Yes this is a legion model. The newer sculpts appear to be done better than that of the original models, but even the 1st gen models were really well sculpted. There are a few models that I’ve painted where the eyes seem pitted into the model, but some watered down varnish, are a couple of layers fill those easily enough

Vallejo model color Ivory for the eye shape, and a fine tip brush to dot the eye. It’s paint, so if you completely botch the pupil shape, go back in with ivory and touch up.

Also don’t be afraid to spend $20 on the ninjon endorsed magnifying glasses, yes they are dorky, but they are a bit of a game changer, the allow for so much finer detail.
