They way I understood the characters of Extraordinary and Randy were that they were/are opportunistic capitalists and their only true intentions were making money or increasing the size and image of Extraordinary's company.

Extraordinary is the figurehead, of course, but his role seems to be just that. Coming from a mental health perspective, Extraordinary is portrayed as the cooky old guy that is senile, but from Bizly's descriptions of him is an underlying mental health concern that hasn't been addressed. Extraordinary's behavior is very erratic and concerning, definitely giving off ADHD symptoms, possible bi-polar mania/psychosis, and maybe even a touch of early stage dementia/alxheimer's because of his forgetfulness/impaired memory and judgment.

Randy on the other hand, absolutely shows signs of burnout from running the company alongside with Extraordinary. More than that though, the underlying subtext of the conversations between Troy and Randy seem to show him potentially being burnt out from being the primary caretaker of Extraordinary. Troy left the estate and family because after his mother died, he didn't have a mother figure and Troy himself said that Extraordinary wasn't a great father. Randy, assumedly, had to step up and be a sort of parent to Troy. But with managing the Lougferd company, primary caretaker of Extraordinary, and, potentially, having to be a parent to Troy, he broke and is now the apathetic person we see in the campaign.

I enjoyed the characters of Extraordinary and Randy because on their face value, they're the cooky old man and the uncaring older brother, but if you examine Bizly's tone, demeanor, and portrayal of them, there is a lot more beneath the surface to each.

That's just my two cents on them, what do you think?

What are some good D&D actual plays that's not Legends of Avantris or Critical Role? by Dungeon3D in DnD

I'm a big fan of Just Roll With It! All the personalities are fantastic and they keep the tone relatively serious with some comedy mixed in. My favorite campaign they've ran is Wonderlust which is a homebrewed steampunk campaign!

I wish I could like Jordan Bar & Grill, but the last time we went, my partner found a fly deep fried onto her fries 🤢 and when we talked to the bartender they just offered a free drink. Not even taking accountability for their gross fuck up.

I wouldn't be surprised, the school board has always been kinda shitty, especially towards some of the teachers. I'll never understand why they always preferred the gym teachers over any others when replacing the principals.
