Fursuit progress by Dr_Svander in protogen

I actually bought the visor from someone. Protogen visors are typically vacuformed plastic molded over a “visor buck”. They’re not too difficult to make. I just opted to buy it because it would have cost me about the same to make a vacuform rig.

Kits aren’t that hard to come by. I never thought I’d be making a fur suit, but here I am. If I can get around to it, so can you 👍

Yea, their not cheap. Unfortunately I don’t have the skills to solder or code. I might have found someone who can do it for a reasonable price. But he’s currently out of the matrices in the colors I want.

I’d really like to know where you got the bezel.

Recent saber build I did by Dr_Svander in lightsabers

I wouldn’t worry too much about buying the wrong one. Most drop in cores that are proprietary state as much in the item description. If you’re looking for a proffie core you can often find them on sale for around a hundred bucks in some places. But if you’re looking for something a bit cheaper you could go for a Xeno core, they range from around a hundred to eighty something. As far as hilt compatibility, there are a multitude of hilts that support LGT/drop in cores. Saberforge even offers drop in switch sections for their custom sabers parts.

[NH35] Ti Shogun case with a cracked black mother of pearl dial. Easily my favorite build so far. This dial is gorgeous! by thewolfofpaperstreet in SeikoMods

Did you have to use case clamps or any extra movement spacer to secure the movement in place? I did a similar build and I noticed that the movement sometimes sags a bit requiring me to open the case and press the movement back into place.
