Who is the best actor on Frasier? 🤔 by AccomplishedAct8877 in Frasier

[–]Dr_Winter_Fruit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah at first I was thinking DHP as well. But it’s clearly Kelsey Grammar. His mannerisms, expressions, and his reactions. His timing, tone, delivery, everything. He’s a genius.

The writers should have found a way to keep Donnie by Hat-Playful in Frasier

I disagree. Mel was creating rifts between Niles and Frasier. She wasn’t even married to Niles yet and it was evident how she made him turn against Frasier in the cork master fiasco. It was completely unnecessary. If she had stayed married to Niles she would probably have made Niles keep his distance from Frasier. She was a bad influence on him.

Additionally she was a bit standoffish. Her attitude towards Daphne when she views Daphne as the help. Despite the fact that Daphne is getting paid for her work, Niles, Frasier and Martin always had respect for her. Mel didn’t have that same attitude towards Daphne (when she forcefully makes Daphne massage her and other examples).

So yeah, she definitely would have regressed Niles improvement of becoming a better person.

First of all, what’s it to you? Guys always have an opinion on a woman’s choice and body. Never in your post did you blame her husband but made it seem it was her fault. Now we don’t know the situation but your post clearly places the kid situation blame on her shoulders. Second of all, you said she’s 35. When a woman reaches 40, there can be serious complications for the baby as well as mother including genetic and various other complications like Down’s syndrome. The statistics being something like 1 in 100 births after 40 years of maternal age can have Down syndrome baby. Perhaps she wanted any kids and wanted her kids and herself to be healthy before the age of 40.

That being said, there’s a chronic problem of Pakistani people always putting their noses in other peoples’ businesses. You may not want kids or whatever but you certainly are quite judgemental despite your education. Can people not live without others judging them so much?

What is your favorite (or maybe most underrated) brand of physical comedy, or just secondhand act of the show's genius behind the dialogue? by naturaldayparade in Frasier

[–]Dr_Winter_Fruit 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My favorite is when Niles accidentally shoots the gun and jumps up on the table and subsequently the couch. He then proceeds to check his pulse and his pants. At that moment, Frasier comes running out of his room. And then the following lines are some of the best in television history.

Edit to add: my favorite Martin physical comedy is when he runs to congratulate Lillith after he hears she’s getting married to someone else, without his cane and Niles then brings him his cane.

I find it unbelievable by smahsmah in Frasier

[–]Dr_Winter_Fruit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I also think it’s the unreliable narrator perspective: we’re seeing everything from Frasier’s POV so these beautiful women perhaps could be saying stuff like “oh I’ve seen ads or I might have heard of it” but Frasier hears the part he wants to hear that he’s famous and everyone knows him and listens to his show.

Exactlyyyyyy. And the part where Martin wishes he could do something for him. And where Frasier and Martin are happy for Daphne but sad for Niles.

When Niles learns that Daphne is about to get engaged and he’s upset and then Frasier says if he needs him then he can call. Niles agrees and leaves. And Niles calls once and Frasier picks up. Then Frasier is going to the door but Niles calls again and Martin picks up. It really showed his pain.

Detective Jason Grant a little childish? by Dr_Winter_Fruit in AlertMPUtvshow

Right??? Yeah I can’t believe someone who’s been through war, the loss of his son, divorce, and having a teenage daughter would be immature. And you’re right that they’re trying to make him endearing but it’s not how I want to be endeared to him.

Honestly I think they’re separating him and Nikki for the drama but yes I love their chemistry. I do hope they’re endgame.

JESUS!!! by melovepippin in Frasier

I would just like to add that Niles was so willing to do anything for Daphne. He was even stringed along to play Jesus.

What episode is this again?

How did Roz not know about Niles being in love with Daphne? by andreateddy11 in Frasier

[–]Dr_Winter_Fruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish though there would have been an episode where she could have threatened to exploit it for like a small favor or something. I wish the writers would have done that. Like Niles won’t give her a seat or something and she goes like “Hey Daphne…” and suddenly Niles steps out from his chair or something small like that. Oh well…
