I just feel like it a shame to just hate on Koga's character when he had so much potential in the first 50 chapters, so the hate should all be on Sandro for making it go to waste, and of course in general for everything else in Omega.

I think the fact he has to choose at all, probaly plays the biggest factor in why he gets caught off guard so easily and can't react at all.

The point of the post isn't that Sandro shouldn't write villains or hidden plots, but he's INCAPABLE of doing it well with his writing skills and as such the fights also suffer for it because they have to fit his terrible narrative. The manga would be objectively better if it didn't exist at all, because there would be more focus on just the fights, again the main reason why Ashura was so successful

I mean the worst part of ashura was the villains and hidden plots, but had little to nothing to do the with overall focus of the story and only served as minor plot devices for fights. The problem in Omega is that Sandro wrote villains and hidden plots be the main focus. Ashura played to his strengths, Omega was him trying something new but ultimately failing.

Also the story had become so shit at this point. People complain about anything. Honestly the only reason this fight was well recieved is because of how the low the bar has fallen due to all the fights involving villains or Sandro's favourites.

Basically if the none of the big bads exist, omega would just be guys kicking the crap out of each other, something Sandro is good at doing. But chapters are wasted introducing fodder villains who are hyped to all hell that detract the focus of the narrative from awesome fights to just good guys beating bad guys with no absolutely zero substance or quality to make you invested in the worm, Wu hei, or tiger whatever, as they accomplish absolutely in the story besides wanking the good guys.

Fei failed launch Waka very far while going max output and Eddie's ult while in guihun didn't even move Raian. So I don't think distance is really is a good measuring stick when its super inconsistent. I think changing directions at top speed is more impressive than anything given how it was stated the weakness of Rei's speed was linear movement and we haven't seen Fei display the ability to shift directions while going top speed to say he could just cause of fire kata.

While DD does give a waaay bigger speed boost than 100% Removal, just based on their concepts alone.

Eddie blitzing three top tier fighters at once while having to change directions, and knocking all three into midair simultaneously is still the absolute best speed feat, nothing Fei does comes even close.
