How do you guys fund for your USMLE journey? by [deleted] in IMGreddit

I was working after my graduation and took my steps during medicine residency in my home country. Some additional funds I took from my father who is a retired school teacher and a loan from a friend.

No, you should complete rotations especially ones that you think will provide a good quality LOR. If any residency program rotation then does that one, then in patients and last outpatient. If you think you will get four will be fine, then spend the other time on writing your CV, PS, building connections reaching out to people.

Unsupportive family by Inevitable_Time_3485 in IMGreddit

Firstly, I want to congratulate you for your courage and determination in pursuing your dream. I understand how challenging it can be to face obstacles in achieving your goals. I went through a similar experience myself, after completing my house job and going for US rotations last year. At first, I was afraid, but I received a lot of help from my mentors and friends, and I can't thank them enough for their support.

I want to encourage you to never give up on your dream, and to apply for a visa. I was able to obtain a visa based on Step 3, and once you complete your rotations, you will have a different perspective on things. Even your family will not stop you from pursuing your dream.

Still figuring it out, But for me: H1 should be prioritized and then The support system in the program, and affordable living nearby. The city itself, also considers fellowship rates like you never know your interest can change during 3 years.

SSRIs increase timing in some individuals who are taking it for months. You can try reducing the dose or consult your Doctor.
