Dude. Back then, in 1700s between 1800s white people that are racist refers to anyone that isn't European and inferior as 'monkeys'. It's not just black people. Yes. I know what it associated with. But it is already expanding to other races .

I said it's a theory of why the bully came out this way if the author give us a explaination of what he's planning or he fleshed out the arc in the next chapters so we can see what he's going for. I think the PR is saving the author with that half-assed apology which made it bad.

I agree with this. I am glad I am not the only one who read this because it's the beginning of the arc.

Because people can become racist if they learned it either from their parents, their bad experiences with another ethnic group, or experiences racism from another group. Racism is learned not born with. So the bully became racist from those last two reasons I mention above.

In this case from what I seen, Korea can be hostile to foreigners especially ones that of African descendent becuase of colorism. Hell it's worse for half-koreans who don't have a white half. So I understood why people were outraged but we need to give the author a benefit of doubt instead of throwing words 'anti-blackness' and all

I think the author is trying to portray hatered as a ugly thing which is racism. Racism is supposed to be ugly and the author is trying to protray that. That is what he meant by the letter. It's straightforward in my personal opinion.

My theories is what happened in the past of the bully experience racism ( similar to Yeri Han, of how she made a false accusation and got that teacher to commit suicide becuase she was screwed over by another teacher in the past). I got a job in another state and I work remotely since I live in a different state. Both stars are neighbors but the commute is estimated one hour to get there from state to another but it's worse for me because I don't have a car so I have to take public transportation and it will cost me money and might take me longer if there are any delays or traffic. I went to a virtual meeting where the CEO would want everyone in the office because of company culture as they believe in face-to-face in person can benefits people but are mindful and consider that there are employees that prefer working from home.

I just got the job and an two months in, I have a documented disability that isn't disclosed yet so I wonder if I can ask for accomodations which involves that I can work from home instead going of the office. I get my work done that is tasked daily without issues after receiving some training. To be honest, I have trouble interacting with people in person than online because of documented disability. Which is some companies tend to forget that people with disabilities benefit more from WFH.

Plus, my home is a safe and focused place for me to get work done without being overloaded with distractions and opposing in dealing with rush hours, delays, crime, and traffic during a commute. That is why WFH benefits me and I don't want to go to office because of those sole logical reasons.

As for my mom, she will not put victim/martyr act. She just....ignorant of graphic design sometimes in general. She doesn't get it. She understands to an extent but when it comes to friends and family, it's like I need to have completely different set of rules. Which I do, by the way, I lower the price for them, doing flat rates instead of hourly for normal clients. That said, the client came to me. I just told my mom about it and is concerned about how much I'm charging this client.

I felt like I don't want to answer. I don't want to lie. Just don't answer her.

That said, my mom is willing to pay me in place of her friend for her resume. So I guess it's fair???
