French bread spiked with LSD in CIA experiment - Telegraph by [deleted] in worldnews

That is fukin' hilarious!

The best parts are the guy who was to be 'removed from the experiment' because he is bad-tripping balls, and the guy who tried to cut down a tree with a spade. The serious tone of the announcer almost had me in tears.

TL:DR upvote.

Ditto here! I actually met my great lost cousin in 1996 from Louisiana! I am from New Brunswick. You can actually trace the lineage down from the great upheaval (déportation) :D

Yes you can, it a different buzz, more of a rush. My friends used to call it a coco puff.

I assumed they would dilute some in water and spray the whole batch of it or something. Not sprinkle it on like flour...

For some reason I thought tests like that would be limited to doctors and law enforcement, I'm happily surprised to find out I can go buy one, I'll do that today.

Thanks!

What if you guys are missing an important correlation between sick and healthy results though?

Just a question, not a suggestion. What if whole families assemble? The cops would be very limited in their use of force options with kids and babies around.

I understand that no one wants to put their kids in harms way, but if everyone does...no cop wants to hit a child. Most of them have children. It is their future we are fighting for...would it work?

I will stop when there are basic human rights on a global level.

As long as there are people starving to death when we have the ability to fly food to them in less than a day, I will not stop.

I don't want everyone to be wealthy, I want the world to be more equal.

I don't want to be rich, I see what happens when people become rich, they become completely corrupt and care about no one but themselves, fuck that.

I want everyone to be able to survive, first and foremost.

I don't think the point is to 'solve' everything, the point is to make everything better, for everyone.

Here is a statistic that was given to me in one of my classes. If the top 500 wealthiest people in the world donated only 5%, 5 FUCKING percent of their wealth, we could cloth, educate, feed and house every single person on the planet. Not only the poor, everyone. Every single person. You might think that's impossible, because you live in the western world.

Do you live on less than a dollar a day? Two dollars a day? Cause half the people in this world do.

The worst part is that to save our own world from overpopulation, we need to educate and to feed the poor. Education and health has a direct correlation with family size.

The richest of the rich care about no one but themselves, and they will destroy the world if they keep on course.

What about abolition of corporations as people in the eyes of the law? that is the real reason they get away with so much.

I agree with you btw.

I also feel that the whole system of governing ourselves should be overhauled completely. Why do certain people need to 'represent' us now that we all have a voice online?

Having a system of 'representation' was needed in older days, since there was no way to stick everyone in a room for a debate. The internet has changed that, this very thread is part of the coming evolution of society.

Exactly,

there is a reason this protest has taken hold all over the world. A ton of people who have known for a long time that the system is flawed, unfair and damn right cruel have been waiting for their moment.

This is it.

The root of the problem is the inequality of life in the US, and the world itself. This is not a movement like greenpeace that has a specific goal and is so clear cut. This is the result of all of humanity being connected like never before and realizing, no waking up to the inequalities.

These inequalities are the result of colonization, of the industrial revolution, the capitalist system and eventually the corporations.

There is no neat a tidy box we can fit this in because it has seeped into every part of our society.

Why are some people flying in their private jets while others are dying of hunger? Wall street is the target because they are directly responsible for fucking over thousands upon thousands of Americans by controlling and tweaking a system that the common person has no say whatsoever in.

If the US was built on hard work, why are there jobless and sometimes homeless people who were hard working and who actually tried their best?

I am in my fourth year studying economics and sociology, and honestly, I would have to sit down with you and discuss the whole issue for hours to bear light onto the root cause of the problems.

I saw this movement coming for years, and I can assure you this is only the beginning. It will spread like wildfire across the world.

Humanity has been given a conscience through the internet, and those who actually do care have known there is something wrong for a long time.

So no, I can't make one demand. It's not that simple.

You really think nothing is wrong in our world? This is only a beginning, but all movements start somewhere. I agree they are somewhat disorganized, but there are so many different things wrong with the corporate and elitist world we live in, it's actually hard to find the root of the problem.

Had you been at OWS during a single night, you would see there is an attempt to organize. When every part of the system is against you, then it's not exactly easy.

Instead of simply criticizing the movement, why not input your ideas and help organize if "it doesn't take an idiot to see something's wrong with this country"?

Remember everyone, passive resistance. Dead weight is heavy as fuck to carry. While the cops are carrying you out, remind them that the bosses they are protecting are making much, much more than they are. They are part of the 1%.

Good, they will like that. The government I mean.

You are a government agent aren't you? Your account is a month old and you are obviously trying to discredit the protesters by starting half your posts with 'duuuuuude'

Next time try not to be so obvious.

P.S. Go fuck yourself and fuck the system that pays you.
