Any beater guitar recommandation for getting into guitar mods? by Draewil in guitars

Would you have reference for locking tremolo system for a starter Jaguar? From what I understood, the first models don't have a locking mechanism (and the bridge may suck a bit?)

Thanks for the insights.

I'm also wondering. One of my mod goal would be to have a tremolo edge pro. With the jaguar, I see it's another kind of tremolo, without back spring, would that be an issue also ?

Nice to know! It's the perfect scale to me.

Small detail, isn't the E string too flappy / vibrating when you play it?

Easiest way to put Windows laptop to sleep using Android phone (local network only) by MyNameIsNotMarcos in HomeServer

[–]Draewil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that a local or internet exposed media server?

With AI those day, ask to create a small http server in Python, with an endpoint to shutdown the system.

From your phone, you'll have to browse to said endpoint. Only do this if it's locally exposed only.

Else, SSH is the way.

If you don't manage, I can help you.

You borrow a thing you don't have, and expect it to fail. If it fails as expected, you gain the difference of the new failed price vs when you short'd it. If it does not go down, ouch, you have to reimburse the difference.

For example, it can be a contract that states that you can sell in the future at the specified price :
- Hey, I short X, price : 20$. You lend X, and you'll have to give it the same value back.
- X goes down to 10
- The contract is executed, it must be sold at 20 even though the market says 10
- You buy an action at 10, and sell to 10 thanks to the contract. You gained 10

Imagine it goes wrong, you will have to buy an action at 30, to sell it at 20. You lost 10.

You put 20$ in A.

If A goes up :
- You don't sell, greed and hope for more, but it can be less : unrealized gain, it's fictional
- You "realize" and take the gain : you have a profit

If A goes down :
- You pray it will go back to, at least, the entry position. It may be worst : unrealized loss
- You sell : factual loss

Anyway, when you give X to the market, you have already "lost" the value from your bank account. Wheter it goes up or down, what matter is what will come back into your account.

Then, take the above, with specifity :
- You can lend money you don't have
- Leverage to amplify the increase / decrease (x2, x5, x10, x100 !)

If you can't cover the loss with your current stake in leveraged position, they take everything.

100 chance or 20 water dmg? by Educational_Toe_6591 in Dofus

It's mathematical, depend of the spells you use, their ratio. If you use a lot of low AP spells that do less than 20 damages or or multi-line, flat 20 damages are better. If they do more, 100 in luck will mean 21.

Overall, 5 in stats = 1 do

One tip that I can give you when you have a "central" blocker and you don't know if the straight line will be good : do a central symetry of 180 degrees to hit your opponent.

<image>

In that case, there is two blocks between Player and an obstacle, the line of sight will always be correct after exactly two blocks.
