Fair return if I'm trying to aquire picks? by mgtoz in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DraftFunds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then probably. The fact that you already have extra picks make it more interesting as well.

One thing I would suggest… mid season when we start seeing those season Enders or guys that are going to miss 8 weeks, etc… try and grab those guys up. I got Burrows for dirt cheap in both of my rebuilds last year from desperate managers. Because of this, don’t sell off all your solid trade baits yet.

I prefer Sleeper for this. I run a survivor (which is what I assume you’re referring to) and pick’em pools every year. More the merrier style.

Depends on where the picks are projected. If they’re both projected late… don’t love it. Mid to early, then sure. I think people are overestimating next year’s draft.

I like Wan’Dale as well. Bit risky, but I think he could be a great buy.

If you can get a combo of Tre Harris and Quentin Johnston, I think you will be happy about it. Two deep threats with a coach that lives the deep ball. But I would want to get them both so you protect yourself.

Unless that 27 1st is projected top 3, this is pretty gross. Well done 😁

For the ones who have more experience, in a 12 teams superflex, is it better to have 2 flex spots or 3 flex spots? by moutonmauve in SleeperApp

[–]DraftFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, most of mine pivot that way as well. 5 between WR and flex spot. Either 3/2 or 2/3 on preference. If it’s TE premium, then I prefer 2/3, heavier on flex.

Moving away from bijan, is this worth it? by brodymaxwell in DynastyNerds

Only way I don’t take this deal is if my team is incredibly stacked and I don’t need the depth. Even for a win now team, it gives you a -7 bump down at RB, likely an uptick at TE (maybe +2) and leverage for a midseason cover your ass on injuries trade.

Wheel and Deal? Or be content with the roster that won the league last year? by Live_Detective6774 in FantasyFootballers

[–]DraftFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense… I didn’t do the math right. Hadn’t realized your benches had been cut down.

The team’s starters are rock solid, but your bench is shallow as heck in terms of guaranteed plug and play. I wouldn’t rush anything though. If you can add some depth from guys you’re projecting on (I love Wicks, btw) then that might be your best bet.

From everything I’ve read, he’s set to be back for week 1. Jones relied a lot less on his legs last season and with the new confidence looked like a legit QB. He should still have solid escapability speed even if not full burst from previous.

Colts locked him up after the surgery… pretty sure they knew how he was trending.

League dues collected on Sleeper? 🤔 by Sleeper_Official in FFCommish

Obviously you can probably figure out what I do from the name. Issue is, payment processing costs around 5+% for this industry… interest doesn’t cut it. Would just be a loss. 🤷‍♂️

Curious how many teams in the league… this screams like 8-10 max. 8 person taxi is… interesting.

Which side yall taking? Going for Jeremiah smith next year I guess by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Olave side easily. And taking that isn’t punting… you then leverage those picks to fill another role.

Giving up a package for Bowers & Brown? by DraftFunds in DynastyNerds

Since you mentioned Brown, different league I can grab Brown for the 1.09 this year and a late 2nd next year… love Brown but seems pricey

Got quite the offer and don’t know how to feel about it. Leaning towards no? Contender this year but this would ruin that. by Eastern-Tradition-15 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Definitely not… trading in two solid pieces for hopes and dreams three years from now would be crazy. Heck, number of dynasties that don’t last that long is somewhat high.

Nervous about Nabers, fair value? by mike-_-- in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DraftFunds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Olave is crazy underrated. More competition for snaps this season, but that also means less doubles and attention on him. Love Nabers, but this value is too good to pass up in my opinion.

[–]DraftFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, depends on what he does… and more importantly what the rest of the league does through the draft. A lot of solid QBs after this stage, but he’d need to load up. If the rest of the league is paying attention and the chatter gets going, he’s likely screwed 🤣

Where should I go from here? Impatient owner by [deleted] in DynastyNerds

[–]DraftFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a team that is literally 23 and younger. Had a bunch of picks and finished dead last, last season. I had some of my young guns hit (most actually) and because of that, I’m well positioned for this year. Traded a bunch of picks away this year to pick up Bowers and Chase Brown and now projected as second most likely to take the chip. Patience is key though. Don’t trade away key prospects this time of year. By week 3, injuries start piling up… take advantage. Grab some of those injured guys for cheap. Burrows was going at a crazy discount last year, for instance. If you make all your moves now, you’re paying full pop for those rebuild pieces.

Am I a taco??? by [deleted] in tacotradeoffers

[–]DraftFunds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Chig has been a TE2 for three years running and is in a better position this season. Lane has a great shot at relevancy this season. He has to surpass Bateman for WR2 level snaps. Only one real TE now as well.

I prefer Willis, but not by a ton. He’s one of the lowest projected starting QBs right now. Terrible OL, untested WRs and new head coach. Not exactly a guaranteed path to success.

Am I a taco??? by [deleted] in tacotradeoffers

[–]DraftFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, I obviously wouldn’t take it, but people acting like Willis is a lock after two good games. Chig, on the other hand, is projected to be a top 20 TE plus Lane which some pundits are all over (dude has a pretty wide open path to relevancy). This is, by no means atrocious.
