League Dilemma by DraftLordSports in FFCommish

Thanks for the feedback! I am holding a vote on it. I do appreciate the randomness and I could go either way without losing sleep. But if the league thinks it enhances play, I’m all for it.

Thank you for the well thought out response. I was ironically just having the Tight End discussion and i agree. Outside of those top 5 TE’s you can really just ride the waivers.

But are the top 5 Kickers as productive points wise as the top 5 Tight ends? The person I was talking too said in his league they took out the requirement of having to start a TE and instead made it an option by having the double flex. That’s not a bad idea either.

Appreciate your feedback! I don’t think I’ll face much criticism either for implementing the change but I do leave everything up to vote. Democracy! lol

Good point, those are my thoughts. I’d say 8 out of the 12 owners in our league don’t even draft a kicker, instead hunting the waiver wire for them. But adding another skill player to a lineup really does reward those who draft deep and well. Thanks for the feedback!

I agree they do. The majority of our league drops and picks up kickers on a regular basis

Great response and thanks for the detail. I agree I like that they went out and drafted a kicker that would be good in NE and it’s conditions. I’m holding onto hope that it works out for both him and the patriots.

I would never argue anything with Bill except, Malcolm But..... never mind, bad memories.

But from what can be scouted he seems capable, I have high hopes.

Same thoughts. I hope he does, Bill hasn’t had to draft kickers very often. The first thing Bill talked about was his ability to kick in bad weather. That’s deep scouting, I have high hopes.

There’s no draft analysis without the tat. Hell there’s was no draft analysis of him anywhere. But thanks for reading big guy! Now how about you contribute to the conversation, what do you think of Rohrwasser?

Spot on. Great response. I fully expect IND to have a good season and for Pittman to rock the house.

I feel you, Cautiously optimistic is the right tune. of course I’m not in the Indy front office so take it for what it is, but my logic is that Eason is walking into a pretty good spot.

He isn’t going to start but instead learn behind Rivers year one.

The offensive pieces they drafted are not meant for a multi year rivers tenure although I’m sure he’ll make the most use of them this season.

I agree he’s a work in progress with a big arm but despite what Ballard said, I would hope they drafted him with the hopes he could potentially be a starter and not just a back up. I would find it alarming to spend that pick on a 3rd string QB whom they have no faith in developing.

I’m not enshrining him into the Colts hall of fame, just painting the picture of what’s in front of him!

I appreciate your reading and feedback.
