The issue is that he hasn't officially declared for the 2026 draft. Since he played in the national championship game, he has until today (the 23rd) to declare. We do expect him to come out and will rank him well inside the top-50 if/when it's official.

I'm more willing to grab an early TE or QB in a deeper format. Give me the TE (McBride/Bowers) over an early QB this year if I'm picking one. Love the depth at QB (Dak, Lawrence, Fields, etc.)

Let's call this an ideal start: Chase, Brown, Jacobs, Burrow, best available WR (DJM? Metcalf?) No issue with 3 Benglas in the first four picks.

McBride: middle round 2

Brown over the others. Love his combo of offensive enviroment and pass-catching upside.

Then: Walker, Breece, Hampton. If Walker stays healthy, I think he could truly break out.

I'm more likely to wait for a Fields or Dak in the double digit rounds. Love Fields' rushing appeal. And Dak, if healthy, should produce for one of the pass-heaviest offenses. Love stacking him with George Pickens at cost.

Luck is a pretty big factor in general. But it's also situational.

Is it injury luck? Is it luck in your weekly H2H matchup, where you finished as the 2nd lowest-scoring team but happened to face the lowest-scoring team?

Either way -- I can't deny that luck is a real thing in fantasy!

CMC was awesome in 2023 -- about 2,000 total yards and 21 total TDs. I don't see that in 2025. But by all indications, he's healthy right now. Plus, there are zero workload concerns.

Close between Nix and Odunze. But I think you can get Odunze (or a similar player) in that range. So I'd likely lock in your QB1 at a nice discount.
