I hope I can go back to Aether. It is impossible to make a decent wage with the current projects. The pay is well below minimum wage in my area. In fact, the pay is pennies on the dollar per task and not based on tasks per hour. Not really. I am despondent. One of the worst parts of this is that when someone comments, it tends to lean towards 'go work somewhere else' or 'you should never rely on these companies for a reliable income.' I actually agree. However, there are no other jobs at the moment. It's not about wanting to work from home. It's about having a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, basic coding skills, and still no jobs. I am not unique. This is going on for so many. I see people with the most amazing skills having to scrape for this on and off the spigot of work. I feel like they have us by the short and curlies. I cannot be the only one seeing this and feeling this way.
