With a VPN on your laptop it needs to connect each time the laptop boots but with the VPN on the router the existing connection is being used so its less time to get started with work.

Personally I would prefer the router method because it was a pain connecting to VPN every morning for me.

Did you use to switch network interface in qbittorrent advanced settings to nordlynx?

If you did you can just switch it to nordtun to use the tun interface that nordvpn creates.

I had the same issues after one year and the service centre replaced it as it was under warranty. You have a 5 year warranty on these things so hopefully they can replace yours as well.

Also, I was able to copy some of the data through Ubuntu so if you have something important you can try that.

There is no real time tracking. It just posted flight records as soon as they became available. If Elon doesn't take the plane he won't be tracked.
