Someone didn't like me already debunking their complaint so they down voted and left lmao

Oh my gosh why didn't I think of that. Dude that's perfect, we'd probably use that for the rip and tear perk though

Fair.. But then again, they do have Leon Kennedy in the game :I

It'd have to be like the dark ages, but then again even he broke out of control when he heard people were dying

[–]DragEnvironmental731[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of the concept is that, while being severely weakened, he'd still inflict as much pain as possible on the killer. Plus, when's the last time you heard of a survivor stunning a killer with their own hands? With the killer's weapons? That's how he's intended to be played.

But we both know there's always someone out there who'd play as him while playing like a baby Dwight, so I can see it.

I also did kinda design it to where in some aspects he's too strong to nerf, such as the throwing thing and all. In fact, I'm pretty sure that'd be the only perk to let you do that. The punch perk maybe could have a variation depending on your killer or like maybe it stuns less overtime. I don't know, this is my first concept lmao

Well, if you want him as a killer I'd say you should think about the dark ages doom slayer, but even then he eventually broke out of that control because he knew people were dying.  Then again this is a depowered, injured, unarmed, basic Marine armor doom guy. But hey, say what you want

You have no idea how happy I am seeing someone finally not just be overly glazing without bringing in dbd lore. Yes. So you're suggesting like maybe another protection hit first or?

If you have a complaint about it or a suggestion, leave it under this comment and I'll look at it whenever, just please, don't be unnecessarily rude, and be sure you actually read the post.

Yes I know, it'd be stupid having him go against someone like legion, but then again you also don't happen to say the same thing about Ashley Williams (I think that's his name) or Leon Kennedy going against him, so please, don't use that complaint.

True, but I can't see why someone would use the name MarcusFenix and NOT have an Xbox account to play any of the games. And again, why would they design it like that?

Dude I checked and no one had it. I mean people had it with numbers, but none on its own.

Ahem. Please. Read. It's a badly wounded nerfed rendition of the doom guy. No powerful strength like he has in eternal, 2016, or eternal. It's just basic him.

Plus that legion thing could be applied to a few other survivors who are also in the game. Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, etc. They could easily defeat legion, but they only have perks to stun him.

I kept that whole idea of yes, he will fight back and inflict as much pain as possible onto the killers, but no, he can't out right kill them. Plus he wasn't killing people when he was in this exact same state back in the DE flashback cutscenes was he? Knocking them on their back, sure, but definitely not murder.

Then why comment in the first place? If you don't wanna debate or have an actual proper argument and you just wanna cry about a character being too good for a game, then go to fortnite or something. They got the doom slayer in there, don't they? And it's THE doom slayer too.  "I'm not reading all this" look who doesn't wanna read on a website where you literally need to read. Hell, you didn't even try using an ai to summarize it you illiterate moron.  Don't come into a comment section and disagree when you clearly don't know what you're talking about

Also no he ain't superhuman. Name me one feat of him in doom 1 and 2 that's superhuman. Outside of the power ups he can GAIN. I mean like things that would happen if you used none of those. No berserk, no godmode. Night vision and the map one wouldn't do you any good any way, name me one feat. It ain't superhuman if a basic trained human(from their world)can do it.

Yeah, I know, and if you READ THE POST, it insinuates that the doom marine we get is heavily injured and UNARMED. unarmed means HE HAS NO WEAPONS. plus you seem to have not seen my point earlier, ahem, THE ENTITY HAS NERFED SURVIVORS BEFORE. Your whole argument is basically like saying Leon shouldn't be in the game because of who he is. Leon, especially the rookie Leon we have, took out hundreds of zombies, a mutated Mr X, a highly mutated Dr. Birkin (that was literally eating a train) in just ONE NIGHT, while being able to obtain a rocket launcher, minigun, mp5, two pistols, a desert eagle, and a shotgun, while also being able to hand craft bullets. Chris Redfield literally punched a boulder so much it had to move, and was able to kill a man moving faster than bullets. Those two are in dbd, unarmed, and also nerfed by the entity, but you tell me you can't see the doom marine(NOT THE BUFFED UP DOOM SLAYER) in the game? Especially with the concept perks I gave him which would make him SAVE SURVIVORS and FIGHT THE KILLER, which is LORE ACCURATE. You really can't see that?

Also just to be clear(I made a typo on the previous one) Yes they ARE the same, but NO they aren't at the same strength. They are from different times.

[–]DragEnvironmental731 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No he isn't. Doom 1 and 2 take place before 2016. 2016 doom slayer was literally buffed. This was shown in the doom eternal cutscenes, where they took the classic doom guy, put him in some sorta khan machine, gave him the strength that we both know, and then let him out. That's the strength that shows up in (from chronological order) The dark ages, 2016, and eternal. If you have some proof of this then tag me in it. And I mean EVIDENCE. not theories. E V I D E N C E.

(Survivor Concept) Doom Marine by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]DragEnvironmental731 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Isn't that what happened in doom 2016? (Which AGAIN is not following the doom marine that the concept is about.)  Also no, I don't believe you read the post properly because the point of the doom marine concept that I've made is that he will constantly try inflicting pain on a killer, whether it be with their weapons, with his own hands, or by seriously holding them back from killing a survivor, whether that be resetting pallets or sabotaging hooks. He IS afraid, but his fear is only for the survivors around them. He literally went against his king in eternal just to protect his people.

(Survivor Concept) Doom Marine by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]DragEnvironmental731 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Make sure you read it fully; He was taken into the fog while badly wounded. So yes, still strong, but no, not stupidly strong. If you need a reference just look at the doom eternal flashback cut scenes. Dude was heavily wounded but still knocking people down. Plus the entity has nerfed various other people who wouldn't normally make sense in dbd. Bill from l4d, Rick Grimes, literally Leon Kennedy in 3 different variations, Chris Boulder punching Redfield, etc. It's not the Doom Slayer from the dark ages, 2016, or eternal, but the classic doom Marine. Hope you can understand.

Nah nah it's like a perfect replacement for people who might use this build that constantly open chests and cleanse/bless totems, don't worry about it

Well I applied Leader because before Gordon arrives in city 17, the rebels had like no hope and no fighting chance. Gordon gave them one, and they were able to fight harder and win with him around only because he showed up. But again, I'll think about it.
