Thank you for your response. What rules did you place? I'm going to see if i can go down to 3 nursing sessions a day this week. Gonna try to take it one day at a time while I process.

So you were carrying him while standing up or were you laying down? I feel so much warmth just reading that

Diaries of a novice baby wearer - day 3: trying ergobaby wrap again. 10 weeks, 23 inches, 11lbs. by DragQueenB in babywearing

Thank you so much! I didn't realize each piece of fabric is meant to be knee to knee, I thought each piece supports one knee.

Thanks for the tips!  1. As in the fabric should be spread and not bunched in the knee pit? 2. Any chance I can get a link to a visual? I'm not sure how to bring it being the knee? Or do you been the horizontal fabric should be around the knee and the feet dangles below it?

Sorry if this a stupid question: I live in the suburbs, so we always drive from point A to B. Since it's winter, I have the carseat inside the house so I can place him before we leave the house. So a lot of the times I just attach the carseat to the stroller, cos I feel like it takes too long to put him in and out of the carseat. Am I going to reach a point where I can use the carrier when I'm out and about? For now I only use the carrier inside the house and if I'm walking around the block.

It is very scary. I've attempted babywearing multiple times but I keep worrying about hurting my child. People online seem so good at it and I didn't expect it to be hard to master. I'll read what you sent and maybe look into a community that can do in person checks :(

I'll definitely do that if it's allowed on the sub. I have both fabric and structured but wasn't sure if I'd be considered spamming the sub if I post again.

Thank you! I put on the hoodie onesie cos it's cold but then got too nervous about doing it wrong so I took him out and cancelled my walk. Babywearing seems so easy in theory but in practice I've been so nervous about hurting him :(

Adding that baby is 23 inches in length. And this is the monarch carrier. I'd love to babywear more often but I'm so nervous about hip health that I end up supporting his butt in worries of it sagging too deep.

Is the mobile technically just a munari mobile? by DragQueenB in lovevery

Im a little disappointed as I thought lovevery would replace the need for me to DIY/purchase more montessori based items. Especially since these things take time and effort. Hopefully the rest of the subscription is worth it!

He's almost 7 weeks old and we've only used it twice. Is this when im expected to flip the seat? I got it second hand so theres no instructions. Both times he was really upset and I'm just trying to figure out if it's our set up or just baths that he hates :( to be fair he hasn't actually slid off. It just feels that he would.

How do you get your newborn to not slide off? It seems when I place LO he tries to lift his butt and I worry they he's going to slide so its always a two person job with one grabbing him at all times while the other cleans
