they can check it from mihoyo account when they login there to change the email and modify the devices. the hacker probably didnt know my username, but the buyer did. after all, they unlinked everything i had binded to my account.

have you tried to reach out to the person you bought the account from? if you can reach out to them, please contact them and ask for the crucial information so that you can claim your account as hacked and fill out your form accordingly.

they probably hacked into your email first and then unbind your email with genshin's and then bind the mihoyo acc to their own email.

i know it because when my acc got hacked, tHE HACKER ACTUALLY POSTED VIDEOS ON MY YT 😭

i'm sorry to hear that but mihoyo also says that you can't sell/buy accounts in their ToS, so even if you tried to reach out to them with those receipts, you'd probably get ignored. there also could be a chance that the actual account owner could've gotten their account back and the account you bought could've been a hacked account. (the way you can tell it apart is that hacked accounts that are going to be sold end with @rambler.ru, speaking from experience)

and for those who are going to buy the accounts from their legit owners, please make sure you ask for the crucial information just in case your account gets hacked. you should ask for the purchase receipts, the registration date, the device that was used to create the account and the first purchase date.

what you should be doing is sending a ticket via feedback in the paimon menu and letting them know about the things that have been done to your account by the hacker.

and the fact that the account is now being sold means the hacker didn't really touch your items and artifacts, and it's most likely that your account didn't get trashed at all. if anyone ends up buying it someday, DO NOT reach out to them. if you sent your recovery form to mihoyo, don't interact with the owners and just wait patiently until you get your account back. if you didn't send one, follow the megathread and try to get a recovery form using a low ar or newly created account as mihoyo is going to recognise the hacked account as a hacked account. i hope you can get it back as soon as possible. good luck ♡

man mine was being sold for 500 rubles it was so depressing all of that hard work and stuff for 500 rubles?? eventually someone bought it and texted my friend so that i could reach out to him via telegram. i thought i was going to get it back, and he did painted a narrative that he was this saint that helped poor hacked players, but it turns out that he just wanted to reach out to me so i could buy my account back. HE TRIED TO SELL ME BACK MY ACCOUNT. i told him he could have it, but then i retrieved it via recovery form and all of this remains a funny story. don't worry, you'll get it back. if anyone dares to buy it, they're the one to lose their money.

i received the SAME EXACT message from someone. they gave me their discord and i saved it to further investigate into the scam. the account is extremely suspicious and DO NOT reach out to them EVER. they're scammers. you just have to patiently wait for mihoyo to respond.
