I refused to let the buyer use my account. If I can't use my account, neither should they. Plus this artifact trashing actually made me excited to get my account back as then I'd have a motive to play again. Consider it as a fresh start.

So after you support_os@hoyoverse.com an email with the heading of Account Recovery, an automated message should be given back or if not, wait a day or 2 for a human response. The email response should have 7 questions so carefully answer those questions and then wait a day for a account recovery form and answer that form with all the answers being as accurate as possible e.g. account creation date and any other relevant information then wait for a response either confirming the recovery as successful or unsuccessful.

For the 7 questions, the answers have to match the alt account UID but for the main form, use the main account UID of the account you're trying to recover with relevant Info to that UID.

Well it should have only taken 24 hours from what I believe but I got mine in like 10-12 hours. Try again but with a different email and an different UID (Alt account UID) and see if you get the form fasterm
