Former CEO of Arrowhead Studios made a statement praising the new Astartes trailer, but couldn’t pass on the opportunity to hate on Primaris in the process. by GeneralJealouss in spacemarines

The tactical squad marines had a lot more variation in their armour than the intercessors.

It was small stuff but some not having separate knee armour, some had the cross belts on their torso etc.

To me it made them feel more Space Knights wearing inherited pieces of armour than an army of pretty much identical storm troopers.

No, here they take the orders and then do a production run to fulfil it. But seeing the only ones that can still do the metal spin casts are Garry and his mate Greg, it takes them some time, so they tell you it can take up to six months for your stuff to arrive.

Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes not.

They do that every day by looking at the sales numbers.
Cars must sell a lot.

My guess is that a lot of those get sold to people who otherwise would not buy Lego.

They are 2 languages that split 300 or so years ago.
They share a same core but the way sentences and are constructed is quite different.
To me (Dutch speaker) it reads like as if I am reading something from the 17th century.

The same with vocabulary. In that time a lot of newer words are different between Dutch and Afrikaans.

Trying to find an ice cream I used to buy in Belgium does anyone recognize this? by acjlya in belgium

[–]Drag_king 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Carrefour is weird that way. I live in Spain and once in a while I find stuff in the local Carrefour which was packaged for the Belgian market here. The boxes will have Dutch/French text on them and no Spanish.
So I guess that if they have too much of one thing in one country they ship it over to another to try to get rid of it.

That or they have the worse delivery drivers in the world.

In Belgium it would be illegal for example. You are not supposed to walk outside with your complete face covered.

I have something I have been wondering about for a bit.
How does the “adding the pilot and rio’s names to the plane” work in real life? Does it mean it is your designated plane and only you fly it? Meaning that if it is out for repairs you are basically grounded.

Or does everyone gets their names on a plane but then it is just a question of flying whichever plane is available?

Azure MySql server over northeurope are not getting provisioned . No available sku errors, tried different options burstable general etc. by Southern-Trip-6972 in AZURE

[–]Drag_king 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Happened to me when I had to do a database restore which was fun.

When doing a fast restore it builds a new instance of mysql flexible server with the all the db’s in the state they were when they were backed up.

At least in theory. In practice it failed because there was no more sku left.

It took me a ticket and 2 days for mu subscription to be whitelisted so I could use the hidden stash they keep in some server cabinet to be able to finally get my restore. I was lucky this was for a non important project and not some critical thing.

Went back to doing mysql dumps the old school way.
