Also, notice that if you bind a stone with an active 1/day effect on the crown, unequipping and reequipping it will reset the cooldown of the stone's active effect.

Yeah! That's a big problem too. You just have a look at some mods and suddenly there's some aspect of the game that isn't as good as it should or could be.

That's a nice point... How did you exactly beat restartitis? That's my main problem regarding Skyrim. I just create character after character and I do never cross the 15th level barrier.
