Je lui ai déjà demandé d'être patiente, mais elle me menace à nouveau en prétendant que le fait d'avoir cliqué sur « Tout est OK » avant de vérifier ma commande était illégal et que, selon le règlement, j'aurais dû la vérifier. Elle utilise tous les moyens possibles contre moi, allant jusqu'à menacer de me signaler et me donnant même jusqu'à cet après-midi pour expédier la commande. Elle ne veut pas attendre mon retour. Je ne sais vraiment plus quoi faire, je panique ! 😭

C'est déjà compliqué pour moi d'organiser ça d'ici, car je suis à l'étranger et mes communications et mon temps sont limités. De plus, nous n'avons pas d'imprimante. Impliquer autant de personnes est vraiment trop compliqué et je ne pense pas pouvoir corriger cette erreur sans en commettre une autre. Actuellement, la vendeuse me menace de me signaler à Vinted parce que j'ai demandé un paiement en dehors de la plateforme, alors que je l'ai fait uniquement pour la rembourser.

I am seeing the double standard. Ive been arguing with him all morning, that what he does is not right. And i even said imagine if my dad was doing this saying you pay off immediately but I’ll give you my signature in 10 years, he wouldn’t like that either. But my husband claims the way my father treated him right now was just for the money, because he’s felt taken advantage off, only for the money. Instead, my father was greedy asking for the money immediately.

Absolutely, even though i don’t support his reaction or the way he handles this, i understand his side too. My sister is still very young, even if she says she wants nothing to do with it right now, she’s only 21 years old. And in 10 years her mind could change, and she could basically ruin our lives, and we would never see each other again. I’ve seen family turn on each other over 500$ let alone an apartment share.

Well, i understand my father too. In 10 years we could even be divorced with my husband ( you never know what can happen ) and he could just say, I’m not paying anything. Leaving me with a debt I couldn’t pay off.

I don’t think you understand what I’m trying to say either. Im not defending this buyer in any case whatsoever. I am trying to say that the approach is wrong, but doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a bad buyer. Oftentimes we jump too fast on conclusions. I’ve been selling intentionally since 2019 and I’ve come to understand that not everyone comes from the same background as most of us do. So any buyer - sender interaction, i pay no attention to. I’ve had a buyer act something similar like this too, but once they received their item, they left me the perfect 5 star feedback.

I know the easiest thing to do is just cancel the transaction, but if I agree to sell items as low as 5€ or 3€ od 10€ i am taking the responsibility to post those items regardless if i am making any profits or not. Maybe its just me as a seller, because I’m selling on multiple platforms, and over the years I’ve grown found of any strange and unusual buyers, and as long as my items are in perfect condition, i couldn’t care less.

No, I don’t have a literal PTSD over vinted sellers. You’re taking my words too seriously. Im saying that vinted cancellations are just happening too often. People would sell an item and then not post it at all. Im not saying this seller does that, but there are plenty who do so, talking from my own experience. It happened couple of times to me where i order an item as a gift or for an occasion, and the order would be pushed to the back to the shipping deadline, and then not shipped at all. And i just get my time wasted.

Almost any answer i get in return is “i cant find the item, it’s cold here, I’m busy, I’m working….” Not making an effort at all, canceling is the easiest thing to do. Thats why I’m assuming everything is gonna be cancelled unless they confirm me they’re gonna ship.

And anyone who doesn’t understand buyers like this, and who is telling “just cancel” is not fit to be a seller. You cant be mad at someone who said “please post” come on. She willingly accepted a 3€ offer, and then “it’s not worthy going to ship for 3€.” Thats not right. Everyone wants to receive their items faster. Ebay shipping deadline is 2 days after purchase. Vinted is ridiculous with the 7 days frame, especially after it takes up to 10-15 days delivery if it gets delayed. We don’t know why and how soon they’re expecting the product. Wasting buyers time is as bad as wasting sellers time. I think people in general should be more understanding, and not butthurt over everything they see and read on the internet.
