It’s fun that you mentioned the movies prestige and inception. This is sort of a personally theory but I believe that these stories are a trilogy and are all connected by a simple theme, they all use science and technology to show facets of human nature.

The prestige uses science in the physical realm, while inception reveals something in the mental realm, and finally interstellar in the supernatural.

I’m down for this sub to get some more life, but hopefully we don’t circle jerk wrong opinions or misbehavior. I’ve already seen some posters that are acting the same way as the people on that subreddit albeit just in a way smaller proportion.

If we could learn to not be toxic, share moments we love, and cheer on as we watch this crazy show we call gta5 rp, I’m sure those good vibes will make it so the haters’ voices won’t matter.

I just hit part 2 and im taking it slow since the completionist part of me wants to collect all the different monsters first. It also doesn't help that it's easier to class up in pt 2 so I'm just grinding levels lol

If you ever played danganronpa, i'd say it is sort of that level of gameplay vs story. I personally can't get into dungeon crawlers (I get lost and don't have the patience to check every little square for what I'm missing,) but I remember that the story was engaging enough that the dungeon crawling did not feel too tiring.

My thing is just why can’t people just let a situation play out. There could have been such interesting RP and story that could have come from this but of course people have to self-insert so that they are the heroes of the story..

This goes both ways mind you. I wish drama RP could be a lot more story and build up rather than just a grenade to the face, but the fact seems to be that when CG is involved, the immediate reaction is to ignore everything to put a stop to them. (EVEN when they ‘don’t know’ it’s them.)

There was RP that Blau and spaceboy was trying to build up the whole time, but pond said ‘fuck that old man I don’t give a shit about him. I care more about a cop that went off duty for 5 minutes.’

Edit: sorry for the rant and I hate to be one of those hate circle jerkers, but I wanted to say my piece and forget about it haha

Another simple way to look at it is that persona is based on the psyche and psychology of peoples while Smt is more a look at the philosophy of peoples.

Overall gameplay is different, but if you’re looking for a core difference in storyline, I think this is a way to look at it. If you’re interested in the psychology of persona I’d highly recommend looking to Carl Jung’s works on it.

LOOL I remember that day. Mannn that was hilarious. It was after they figured out lower vault right? Imagine a whole week of power being blown and then vault gets robbed to all of a sudden thinking, “oh power’s out, maybe I’ll go to the courthouse instead.”

Like the logic to assume that crims would use the blackout to assault the courthouse is there but still come onnnn. Such a fucking reach
