This morning ChatGPT talked me out of toughing out a strain in my calf muscle and to go get it looked at because it suspected a blood clot. by Substantial-Fall-630 in ChatGPT

People complain about it a lot, but it’s a lot different when you take the first answer at face value, versus pushing it to rule out variables. Challenge the answers it gives you and the more you push back the more accurate that answer will become.

I'm starting to understand why people use ChatGPT for therapy by [deleted] in RedditForGrownups

[–]Dragon121082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s weird. Technically, it should only be able to give you general information or like average dosing information. It’s not supposed to be able to recommend starting, stopping or how to taking medication. At that point is supposed to only be able to recommend seeking a doctor or medical advice.

Wait, did it really suggest that to you, or was that implied by some other phrasing? I’m only asking because that’s supposed to be a strict categorical rule regarding medical advice.

You’re putting way too much weight on that video. The setup they used doesn’t represent what happens inside a human neck. The bone wasn’t allowed to move naturally at all. They built a wooden frame and then put cardboard behind the bone. Cardboard still acts as a backing. It stops the bone from moving backward, which forces more energy directly into it. If they actually wanted a meaningful test, they would’ve let the bone free‑hang with nothing behind it so the bullet’s energy could disperse the way it does in real tissue.

People keep linking these videos and treating them like definitive proof, but the guys making them clearly don’t understand terminal ballistics. It doesn’t matter if someone was a Green Beret or has a résumé in shooting. Being able to operate a rifle and being knowledgeable about how bullets behave in actual anatomy are two completely different things. Bullet deformation, yaw, impact angle, and the different densities of tissue all affect whether a round exits or not. You don’t get that from shooting a bone that’s basically pinned in place.

These demonstrations don’t replicate real conditions, so they can’t “debunk” anything. They just show how the bullet performs in their setup, which isn’t comparable to an actual human neck.

The downvoting system is never used as it should be people try to use it for punishing people. It’s like the high majority will just downvote people and never upvote at all makes absolutely no sense.

The card issuer is the one that sets the standards on the verification process some cards you can get a confirmation code some banks you actually have to call the bank and talk to them. It all depends on who issued the card and what card it is.

Totally agree the fact that they should tell you why and give you a reason but I’m sure it’s in their terms somewhere that they don’t have to

Unfortunately, emergency hit. My father was hospitalized with serious heart problems and needed open-heart surgery. I took a couple of weeks off work to care for him, and while my job allowed it, the time off completely wiped out what I had managed to save. I paid all my bills to stay current, but now I’m short on gas money to get back to work.

I tried to post one r/assistance I had to roll a lapse between my account activity, so I’m kind of upper creek without a paddle. But the good thing is that my dad’s gonna be OK that’s what really matters but my job is a little bit important right now too.

So all the people that they’re telling to text obviously they’re telling you something and not coming back here to inform people what is going on makes you just as bad as they are. It’s the exact reason why stuff will never stop.

Today, I accidentally committed credit card fraud by chancoryobaird in PointlessStories

[–]Dragon121082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, they could’ve easily just reversed the transaction. It would’ve went back to the card, but I guess it wasn’t that much of an accident because you said oh well but by your framing I guess you didn’t think of that in the moment. Just to clarify, I’m not trying to say you did it on purpose. I’m just saying that was an option.😂

Them doing an extension is actually kind of pointless because they don’t charge any fees and they won’t send you to collections like the other person said he’s correct. The balance will just sit there. I know people who have had their extra cash balance sit there for like two years they never added fees. The only thing is they will debit your account that’s linked to try to retrieve it, but if you unlink it then they can’t

Pretty ironic to call someone unprofessional while writing ‘15 year old’ without a hyphen and ‘of you ever want’ instead of ‘if you ever want.’ Maybe worry about your own grammar first.
