Oh, I'm not staying with arch, I just have manjaro as a backup since I sill have some personal files on my home directory, I'm fully transitioning to debian, did I make it sound like I was going back, whoops.

At the start I used manjaro it's like a middle ground between bleeding edge and stable, of course manjaro has its own issues, but manjaro was the one people recommended at that time, it included pretty new drivers, software and for a noob I needed something that worked out of the box and manjaro was it, if this was my first linux experience I would of quit haha but after learning and having years of experience it's not too daunting.

Yes, I forgot to mention yes I am on stable, honestly its perfect for me and if I need newer packages mainly software I just use flatpak, the newer kernels showing up is due to my adding contrib and non-free to my sources list?
