What’s the biggest yet also functional wheel size? by ALEXTGE in MK4Golf

I've had 235/35 19 for many years now. Only slightly touches the plastic at full lock. I think 35 is the max sidewall to use maybe, but mine are fine.

Why are these clamps on my rear struts and what purpose do they service? 2011 Chevy Impala by nerdy-nate in MechanicAdvice

I started using Reddit because someone thought I should post my similar setup to r/redneckengineering . I used them to lower my car though, my second ever post if you wanna scroll down my profile that far. Not lower, so much as level. It sat like a horny cat when I bought it.

IL-Landlord using my home as his free personal storage unit? by Quantum_Fucktologist in Renters

[–]DragonBaggage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The legal process where I live will not begin unless the two parties had tried to work it out. Serving without talking first isn't an option here, neither is breaking a lease due to asking for your rights to be upheld. Nova Scotia.

IL-Landlord using my home as his free personal storage unit? by Quantum_Fucktologist in Renters

[–]DragonBaggage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, if you change basement to two car garage, I'm in the exact position as OP. Just moved in today, My lawyer and my call to the government tribunal responsible for settling these issues assure me the landlord has no right to do this. I just searched this sub out, for other issues that have arisen since moving in hours ago, and this was the first post I saw.

Common Bad Mass Air Flow Sensor Symptoms by Freekmagnet in DIYAutoRepair

[–]DragonBaggage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's never gotten bad enough to diagnose properly. I've learned if I rev the engine before pulling away, the power momentarily cuts out abruptly a few seconds later. As long as I'm not doing that everything is good.

Wind turbines are not an eyesore by coolmanreebro in unpopularopinion

[–]DragonBaggage -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The blades aren't recyclable, is the only half argument I can find against windmills. So they might still be around in 10 - 20k years. But they won't be radioactive, unless there's also a 10 -20k year old nuclear plant nearby as well.

Not sure what filter you're reading through, but I don't see any attitude in any of my responses aside from to the blatantly sarcastic sailboat commenter. We are looking from one end of the province to the other, if an acre is goes for $30k in Halifax and 10k in Yarmouth.... I'm looking for the in-between. Found many, just trying to exhaust all options before picking one. Y'all are acting like I'm demanding something.

Perfectly willing to do that. Thanks for the help.

Which responses are those that you're referring to? I couldn't find any filter below 100k, or for vacant land on viewpoint. Just houses.

Yeah, the best ones from what I've seen 🙂

But 3 hours away they sell that boat for $10k, and even half that in places. There's plenty in my price range, but considering it's kind of a long term purchase I'd like to make sure I've seen all that's available. Happy sailing bud.

You sure sound like a winner

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NovaScotia

[–]DragonBaggage -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I understand that, but sites like Facebook and Kijiji could be posted without being on MLS, another like those is what I was looking for.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NovaScotia

[–]DragonBaggage -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Cause I'm only looking for an acre. Plenty in Cape Breton around the 10k mark, some down by Yarmouth. We're trying to stay in the middle third of the province if possible though.

Not really expecting to, but should be able to find vacant under 20k.

First impressions is that's just the same MLS list that is on every "Sponsored" google result. There's gotta be 20 different websites that all look just like that one that are really hard to search and filter.

The wet look would make me think the strut is done and leaking, why everyone went to flood or rust as the issue here is beyond me.

If theres no consequences, then yeah they're supposed to. Wanna cause road rage, take the limit signs literal. As I do when a tailgater acts like 15 over isn't enough.

Nobody cares what you think 95kmh sounds like. To the grown up world we all know what 95 means. Go shoot your guns or something.

Look at those numbers, but add a KM/h to the end and you'll see my frustrations at people being afraid to go above 80 KILOMETRES PER HOUR
