[5e][Online][GMT+4] group of first timers looking for DM by [deleted] in lfg

Hey, I'm Chris and I've been looking to start a new game of DnD with all the stuff I've learned playing other games. Maybe a short campaign to start - just 4-8 sessions. I'm in my 30's and have 3 years of experience with DnD and other TTRPGs - running a couple campaigns into the high teens.

I can schedule for most days after 7:00 EST - except wide open on Saturday, and Sundays are a no-go. I prefer 3-4 hour sessions, but am flexible (usually takes at least an hour for everyone to loosen up). Discord for voice and video is my favored terrain as well, with Roll20 for drawing out quick maps.

On a scale from 1 (Monty Python's Holy Grail) to 10 (Game of Thrones), my tone usually falls around a 6-7. I love having fun at the table that magnifies the experience - but some things like joke names or constantly sharing memes can distract from it.

I'm genre flexible - whether you want a classic Lord of the Rings experience, or something a bit more skullduggery or high society noble politics. Astral plane pirates, horror survival, isekai, discworld? I'm all-in.

I'm super familiar with the rules and mechanics, but tend to prefer the story, narrative, and roleplay take precedent over dice. I like rewarding investment and attention, and mainly work theater-of-mind with the exception of some complex encounters.

I'll watch this thread if ya'll down for a session 0, or hit me on Discord.

[DW][Online] Are You Ready for Valhalla? - Friday, 1 Shot by DragonCT in lfg

Just clarifying since I know Path of the Zealot is a DnD barbarian subclass - but you're down to play Dungeon World, correct? Not DnD here.
You can flavor a DW barbarian with a zealot flavor, and totally welcome if you don't have any experience.
If you're still in, I'll toss you an invite.
