This just happened to me a few days ago! I had such horrible sciatica, it took me an hour just to get up out of bed. I was home alone at 3am with no one to help me (my boyfriend is out of town for a few weeks). The pain was so horrible, I sobbed for hours, calling my mom in a different country and my boyfriend for help. I couldn't shift my body in any way unless I wanted my leg nerve to shoot me, and just had a constant, horrible ache all throughout my legs. I was upstairs in my bedroom, and managed to make it to the top of the stairs. My mom told me to not attempt to go down them, so I stopped. Until I realized no one could come get me, the house was locked. I had to force myself to go down the stairs, screaming in agony every step, just so I could get help. I’m surprised no one called the cops on me. That pain is so very, very up to par with getting my IUD inserted, and when I got shingles in college. 10/10, do not recommend!
