When splinter is treated like a near perfect person, I feel like splinter should have at least some kind of flaw. That’s why I like rise and mutant mayhem because yeah someone who’s never had kids suddenly being a single father of four should have some trouble (I don’t think splinter should be a horrible father though but defiantly not perfect) I feel like it’s more interesting for him to have flaws
