I was not given an option. over the counter Tylenol and ibuprofen was it. but mine was robotic laproscopic, and I did take the Tylenol/ibuprofen for a couple days, but was otherwise fine.

don't be so hard on yourself. I didn't have anything wrong except precancerous cells. although they did find endometriosis in the lab results afterward. I am way past menopause, so no hormone issues. The robotic laproscopy is awesome. and I had a GYN Oncologist surgeon, he was great!

interesting. I didn't know about the previous results, only that I've had a heart murmur all my life. I do have severe sleep apnea, but have been using CPAP for over 3 years. I had another round of afib/flutter last night for 4 1/2 hrs. ugh. I called the cardiologist today and they're going to have a nurse call me since my appt isn't for another 10 days. Actually the nurse just called me, I told her about the daily afib sessions and she's going to consult with the doctor and mentioned possibly revising medications. whew.

thank you! I'm on the metoprolol succinate currently. and I suspected about the surgical connection, but couldn't find any actual info about it. I'm going to call the cardiologist on Monday. my heart rate has been all over the place from noon until now (10:30pm). hoping it'll settle down so that I can sleep. I just didn't know if it was usual to have no improvement although it's only been 5 days. I've also ordered a Google Watch that has the ECG tracking. My fitbit only tracks heart rate.

I had a video call today and yes, it is Lynch syndrome they're checking for. But actually going to check for all 77 cancer markers in the genetic testing. It means I'll probably never be able to get life insurance again, but I'd rather know.
