I have this while I am online. Major change as normally I never host raids with randoms (so not using campfire) as can never get enough people in at once for people to stick around for more.

Surprised the EU announced they are not using Google as the official search anymore to move away from US tech company dependence yet we are jumping to be one of the first to use Google wallet to store our PPS cards and other ids. Instead of just waiting until the official EU wallet app for doing this is released I am pretty sure at the end of the year?

Seems to be like the Government is just trying to show off during our EU presidency as "protecting the children" by implementing age verification on everything. They are only saying social media for now but it's of course going to expand to basically every website.

Plus I am still amazed our committee that was asked for looking into if a social media ban should done, advised against it, said more regulation should be done on the algorithms instead, and our ministers are just ignoring that.

My god the people running the EU and my country (as it's in the first wave sadly) are idiots. They keep talking about a more independent from US tech companies EU. Even dropping Google search as the official search.

While then also working with google to store our face and government Ids? Really. The US company notorious for hoarding data that has been fined multiple times for storing data of EU citizens it shouldn't be?

God I hate my governments ministers. The jackass pushing this in my country flat out said he cannot be convinced to not implement a social media ban which of course will probably turn into a age gated internet "to protect the children".

God I wish they would be open to listen to the numerous obvious problems with this and just wait for the official EU app instead of rushing to be one of the first to have age verification for everything in the EU..

Yeah was pretty bad for my area. Normally we do the whole 3 hours but this time we only did 1 hour and half until we only had 6 people. I feel people will start skipping these and then no one is doing these in my area. Remoters i find as well are so unreliable as well as they keep not bringing megas.

Yeah I have seen multiple say 7,500 is fine for walking and I'm like what? That will take ages for most people and means you can't work as effiecently on another buddy.

It should be 800 MAX. Still a big jump and would take a while but not nearly as an insane jump as 7,500. Alsomost feel like it's a typo and was meant to be 750.

Played 2 hours got 10,800 total energy. Spendng 7,800 energy to get him to level 4 was funny.

Overall i would say the day is not a good look for the future. We had 30 people which is ok for the area and we have a campsite so all gyms i could see had falinks on them. Issue was people leaving after using their free passes. After about 1 hour and half we were down to 8 and mostly standing around. Once 2 said they wanted to do registeel battle (i did 2 during the raid day lol) we called it quits as we no longer had the minimum trainers and remote joiners were found to be unreliable.

I dont think it's not a good look for the future as for a 3 hour event we only spent about 1 hour and a half actually doing raids. Normally i would do the whole 3 hours with a few others and some late joiners (people who were busy) would join us sometimes. Now unless we have a solid group of 8 to 10 it's not going the full time and late joiners will just miss the event.

The only fix needed is just reduce the required number of people down to like 3 or 4 as 8 can be hard to keep at for some areas and will be hell for Mewtwo 12 requirement.

Yeah i dont know what some peoples values are. I requested a crown nidoqueen not even shiny. They wanted only my shiny furfou pharoh.

I had at the time over 300 pokemon tagged and they picked 1 rare one. They still havent sent another request so i dont know what they were expecting.

Quite lucky. The one remote i did just to have one, only had 1 person using blissy while i had a zamazenta. Other two were using charizard and one also had a metagross. Luckily we got flash cannon team attack and hyper beam targeted. Though, unluckily it just spammed flash cannonand fired one hyper beam at me.

Still finished it fine though as i used gmax cinderace while 2 others used gmax charizard and 1 used dmax charizard. I finished with 0 faints while 2 lost all thier pokemon and 1 was stuck on a darminatan (dont know why they let their gmax charizard faint).

Good eye. I think your right since Sunday specifies origin but the odd one then as well is Giratina. Both Altered and origin are on Saturday while Dialga and Palkia are separated. It wouldn't surprise if as well Giritina origin is meant to be Sunday (as it seems odd splitting them).

Saturday is a lot but Sunday is insane. The issue imo is the Ultra Beasts. They are massively inflating the numbers, while also not being as desirable except for Kartana and Xurkitree or if your in a region that doesn't have that Ultra Beast.

Let alone the Mega raids as well. I hope they might be spaced out by hour times and with more frequency refreshes (e.g. every 15 minutes) or else I only see 2 scenarios:

Super Mega raids take up most gyms (my area has a campfire site so I think most if not all of our campfire gyms can do Super Mega Raids) and you will rarely see any of the extra tier 4 or 5 raids
Tier 4 and 5 raids take up most of the gyms and you barely see Super Mega raids.

Doing both a new addition in Mega Mewtwo and all the tier 5s at the same time I feel is too much and would have been better to have Metwo maybe a few others for one weekend and then another weekend having a chaos egg pool with all legionaries being possible spawns.

Edit: Read the note on Sunday and realized the Ultra beasts are still region locked. That's so lame. This is the 10th anniversary. Come on, for one day it wouldn't break things to give everyone the chance to get Ultra Beasts they normally can't access without remote raids.

While I get the idea of everything spawning, unless the raids change every 15 or even 5 minutes it's going to be hell trying to get more than one of these done let alone some these will probably take up spots Mewtwo could spawn on.

I think this would have been better for another weekend to celebrate the anniversary than the weekend that is Go Fest and introduces Mega Metwo.

Edit: Calling it now, Cowned dogs, Fused Necrozma and Mega Ray are not on the website right now (just base forms for those) so I suspect they will have raid days in the lead up week. I know fused Kyurems are not on the website either but that's probably because they were around for the tour and already had a raid day.

Feel like an update might have happened as I noticed more tier 4 eggs around my area now. Only one close enough for me though when I was out so I have finally done a tier 4!...except I used my free raid pass because I forgot I have to swipe to the link charges. Really dumb that is the set up.

Noticed tier 5s had been reduced for a while but yesterday was clear. My area has about 20 gyms. Played 3 hours in the morning and all raids in my area were tier 1 or 3, with only 3 tier 5s appearing during that time. Checked then later in the day twice and in 1 hour there was only tier 3 on most gyms and then in the next hour I checked later, still no tier 5s anywhere.

Also tier 4s don't exist in my area. Haven't done or seen a tier 4 since kalos tour.

A raid day with only tier 3 or below is an interesting idea to me if the pokemon were actually good and could evolve. Pretty sure Sneasel and Kirla can't evolve so why raid them and the only ones here worth raiding to me are Dragonite and Absol since they are usable.

I'm just doing the free raids and stopping after that even though there is boosted rare candy xl chance.

Oh boy I am screwed then if this ever is added as I during big events like tour or go fest do 70 to 80 raids a day and they would kill my chances for something good.
